I'm certainly lucky to be still in the lead, hopefully I can get back on the podium next round!

Sorry to hear you're leaving John, but hopefully we can get another teams' championship this year before you go!

And see ART in 1st place on GPGCL, too...

One Racing driver and team manager
GPGSL-3: champion in 2007/2013/2014!
GPGSL-4: testdrivers champion in Season 11!
Do we have a volunteer to run Road America?

Good result, got a bit lucky with Ed's retirement, good to see Daniel in the points as well :)
We only seems to be good at going backwards, hopefully for the next race we'll have the cars turned a 180.

If you are racing, keep on racing and get some points!

Not good enough for TSS. Races are slipping away and we need results.

Awesome coverage tho - hugely appreciated!!!!

I will take that as a no then :(

I could do a video coverage but I need someone to provide the images with some decent commentary.

My Grand Prix 4 Files

I'm a total dick. How many people can say that?
Ruben do you mean as in you video it, someone else commentates on it? When you planning to do it, because i might be able to, you've seen my work once though so its up to you lol. Won't be as witty as Dean though i can assure you that ;-)

Interview with John Maverick after the Canadian GP

Reporter: Welcome Mr. Maverick and thank you that you take the time for us.
Maverick: Sure. What else should I have to do........instead of partying with the boys.

Reporter: Yeah, whatever. So, your first podium for the season. How does it feel?
Maverick: How does it feel to ask the same question all and all again? I guess all I can give you is a standard answer on this. Of course it feels great. The 4th position in Melbourne was good already and I had hoped for a fast repetition and the first podium. But then the following 2 races were only crap and Charrel took his chance to show that he is a really good driver by bringing home the first podium and the first victory for the team while I struggled. It was important for me to show that I can keep up with him and this podium is a fist step into the right direction.

Reporter: That sounds like the comparison to your teammate is very important for you?!
Maverick: Yes, of course. I must say that I have a very good relationship with Charrel. We work together very well and I enjoy it. Yet, your team mate is always the first point for comparison. I have high aims for this season, as MPR has given me a really good car. But first of all I want to be atop of my teammate at the end of the season.

Reporter: What do you think of the season so far?
Maverick: Basically what I have said already. The season is very good so far for the team but it's a shame that it seems that only either Charrel or me can drive successfully. Hopefully this will get better soon. With such a start, however, the aim for the season must be P2, at least, in the constructors. Though that still will be difficult enough. AMR was struggling now for two races, but they will come back for sure. TSS is really a negative surprise so far. But think back at last season when AMR was struggling, too, at the first races and then suddenly they came back like...whoooooa! If we can beat one of these two teams...and of course all the other teams, not to forget them, then that's definitely a victory.

Reporter: Ok, one last question. Your team mate and test driver of the team, Josh Mertz, quit the series again, rather unexpectedly. What do you say to that and will it be an advantage that you will drive in the FPs now?
Maverick: Yes, that was definitely unexpected. He showed a clearly positive tendency and I think he could have become a real good driver. As for me, I think it can be both an advantage and a disadvantage that I drive the FPs now. For sure it is positive to get known to the track and find a good setup. However, you can also overdo it and mess everything up when you have too much driving time. I'll simply try to find a good mix and hope that it'll help me.

Reporter: Thank you very much for your time, Mr. Maverick.
