GPGSL S7 [SEASON COMPLETED!!!] Rule Changes Announced For S8.

Hello. I'm a huge fan of the Grand Prix series. Best part was the 2nd one for me. But the last one is nice too. And with all the great mods it's still a fantastic game. Everytime when I check this forum I visit sometimes this thread too. It's looking like a nice league and I'm interested to join as a (test)driver. 
Some personal stuff. My name is Dominic Brunner. I'm 21 years old. I was born in Linz (Austria), living in Nürnberg (Germany) since 2010. If I get the chance to drive here, I will use the Austrian license of course.

There's a couple of test seats available (I believe they are Scuderia Minardi and Snake, drop the managers a PM).
EDIT: I found an Austrian-themed helmet I made for the GPGNC (but I never used it) in amongst some files, you can have it if you don't fancy doing your own...you don't have to though, of course.

"I would like to publicly thank Dan Mills, CEO of True North Racing, for giving me my start at TNR several seasons ago. Making my race debut at Adelaide was a thrill, and bringing home a couple of victories for the team at Zandvoort, a career highlight. Season 7 hasn't gone to plan, or the expectations I had for TNR. I entered into talks with Dan quite some time ago, with the scenario of me handing over the race seat, so Dan could "test" out any drivers he wanted for Season 8. Great to see Owen given the seat. That was the plan Dan and I had discussed many times, so I am thrilled to see Owen in my old seat.
As for the immediate future for me, I am excited about going over to Snake Motorsports. Hopefully I can bring them some luck, speed and some points in the races I do with them."
The new TSM livery, I like! Nice and smart, looks good!! Nice renders too..... hmmm. Demon Racing would love some renders by anyone interested too....!!

Demon Racing press statement "whisper"
With the recent "On the Limit" magazine article on the newly formed Demon Racing, word out of the new team is that a contract has been passed to a current driver to sign on the dotted line. That news could be confirmed any time soon.
Meanwhile, an experienced driver who has also been offered a contract is still MIA out there in the wilderness, with Demon Racing waiting patiently for a response to offers put the way of this driver. Whilst there is no immediate urgency to sign and name our drivers, we do want to put those drivers into their appropriate seats, and get on with our preparations.
Team boss Sheppard was quoted as saying "We have 2 expressions of interest from drivers who have both been offered contracts. Right now, we are just waiting on confirmation from both of them, then we can arrange the driving line up, and announce that to the GPGSL audience. I want to take this opportunity to publicly state, that drivers that want to be with Demon Racing, need to remain active in the GPGSL thread, as performance penalties are NOT what a new team needs."

Just wanted to let you guys know as soon as possible, Dominic Brunner will be taking my test seat for the last 4 races (I hope this is not too short of a notice in regards to the Austrian Grand Prix). I will go to bed now as it's getting late, but tomorrow (I mean later this morning) I will replace my name with his on the car and send it to Stu, but I wanted to let everyone know before I go to bed

Huh, managed to find out a random fact about my GPGSL career. By the end of next season (S8), I will have driven the most championship test drives out of all the non-team-owner drivers (54 just ahead of Adam who will be on 53). At least i think thats true, is that a good thing?
Anyway can't wait to fling to car round the track at the A1-Ring, is a great track and should be good fun.
