I think the perf spending cap is fine. If you use the full amount you can spend it automatically leaves you with having races where you can't even allocate the standard boost. So that is a good tactical option, if you ask me.

AI errors: That depends on how things are set in the magic data. What's the number right now? Or is there a general number we use at all? I wouldn't change too much on that though as we already have quite a bunch of incidents in the league.

And you're right, 500 and 750 might really be too low from this point of view, but I think 1000 isn't, as this can make you go 500 points over or beneath your actual perf. That is, even if you spend the max boost, you can still fall down on the standard perf with the variance...but you can also double the boost with the variance, at max.

The performance deadline for Round 13 at Interlagos in Brazil is 18:00 GMT on the 30th April. Everyone is to send their performance request to the GPG-Nations-Cup account Please set the subject title of your message as "Round 13 - Interlagos - (Country Name)". In your message please state explicitly how much you allocate for Qualifying and how much you allocate for the Race (e.g. Qualifying: 500, Race: 500). If you submit one number, qualifying and race performance will be exactly half of that value.

Breaking news

Yesterday a motorsport fan who was at the Nürburgring took some blurred shots of a car which possibly is the German season 3 contender. However, this is not certain as there were no sponsors on the car, and also the driver couldn't be identified.

Team Austria Announcement

At the end of the season, Team Austria will pull out from the GPG Nations Cup series. This is due to the financial constraints that has reduced our development and this is the main factor regarding our recent loss of performance. It was obvious from the livery that Red Bull, the majority shareholders, scaled back their support and although KTM, Magna and Upsynth joined the team their support was not enough to cover the shortfall.

We would like to thank the organisers for running it, our opponents for providing stiff competition and our sponsors. Our team manager Jake Legge feels that he may return to the series in the future heading up another nation's efforts, but will definitely sit out S3 as he wishes to allow some other teams an opportunity into the series. However, he is willing to paint cars for any managers that wish for a new livery in the next season.

We would like to wish everyone the best of luck with the future.

I like the blurred images lots of 500's spent this week. Shame to see another drop out

I knew why I purposely didn't spend any points here. At least I have a reason for another bad session this weekend this way. And it spares me points for another race. It was definitely a good choice, although it will most likely mean back-end racing.


GPGSL : Team Owner of 'Maverick Track Performance' (MTP)

Hey everyone i found some time to run the Quali and Race but i am having an issue and it's grating me immensely. Since it rains during the qualifying and race then i should see the light rain but i do not with any camera ( I do see monsoon i checked this) and the track just gets wet but it looks sunny and so its incredibly misleading to just say oh they go randomly so much slower. Also the track does not show itself to be getting wetter from the tv camera view i guess you call it but in cockpit it does. This is the graphics file from the csm and i made a couple of tiny tweaks to the final view to set draw rain on. I have my graphics in game set to the highest as well and everything is turned on so if anyone knows the solution i honestly have not a clue

With five races to go and Team Sweden pulling out a lead on the rest we enter the Brazilian GP with pressure on the others to make up the ground. With the forecast for the weekend bleak and today is no exception. Light rain expected throughout qualifying so lets see how that affects the grid for tomorrow



Kederer sets the first time of the day on a dry track right now we will see how that holds up



Kamikaze next over is much better than Kederer and makes a half second improvement



Nikolov shaves a hair off of Kamikaze's time



Silvestre knocks off a couple of tenths



And Jantsher does the same again



Byrne takes third



Before De Boer just misses out on provisional pole



Johnson also goes so very close



The championship leader has a sluggish first run



Before Vukcevic finds a gap between DeBoer and Johnson



McGregor comes in and brings us into the 1.15s



Last man over is Edvardsen with a not so great time but everyone had chance at a shot on a dry track



Standings after the first runs







Copeman improves onto the first row but closer to the rest than McGregor



Girard splits Copeman and McGregor



Jantsher now makes it up onto the second row



Plenty more improvements as Byrne moves up to 8th before Silvestre takes 6th





Vilela sits just outside the top ten if only a half second back



Hunsley improves but is struggling back in 19th



McGregor improves his time further



De Boer makes another marginal improvement to his time



Johnson and Silva get themselves into the top ten





Kederer likes that 9th place for himself



Kamikaze gets up onto the second row with a nice lap



Edvardsen gets himself up the field a little after his first run



You cannot keep this man out this year Alpenstrom moves up to 4th



Copeman makes another little improvement as everyone is jostling in the top ten



Jantsher is the first man to get close to McGregor and he gets very close indeed



You can see how tight it is when Silva is a half second back and 12th as everyone closes up



Tafuro is off the pace as is everyone following him





The track is getting wet although we cannot see the rain





Edvardsen aborts his lap its that wet now



So much so Silva has intermediates on



Here are the standings with ten minutes and a wet track







Spray coming up from the track as they head around no one will improve



Something for the fans though as Girard decides a cheeky pass on Hunsley



With qualifying ending with the rain there was not much drama to be had and here are your final standings for the race

Honestly i thought i had fixed it as i tested the different rains but it still did not show for light rain. I am making a post on the forum to see if anyone has a solution

We are not where we expected to be... Points finish will be hard task to do, but who knows - maybe there will be some more rain in the race, so it is totally unpredictable...
