there will be a slight delay regarding the coverage. Since I woke up this morning I am pretty ill, therefore I can't run this round at the moment. As I don't know how long I'll have to stay in bed, you possibly have to wait until next weekend for the coverage.

Round 11 - Hungaroring - Qualifying

Welcome everybody here at the Hungaroring to the qualifying of the 11th round of the GPG Nations Cup. Some weather experts have said that there's a slight chance of rain today, but at the moment it's very sunny out here. Oh, I've just seen that Ken Byrne has left his box, so lets go to the track now.

Unsurprisingly he sets the fastest time


But only a few seconds later Jantsher goes more than 0.5s quicker


Vukcevic a lot slower, but he beats Byrne


But his second place doesn't hold for long as Aspenström crosses the line


Antunis with the slowest lap so far


And Brilley goes fastest!


Edvardsen almost 1 second off the pole time, currently in 7th


But Hunsley snatches it away from him


Girard with the 3rd fastest laptime today


McGregor now in 9th, with a big gap to p1


Copeman now in 7th


4th place for Kederer now, but already 0.5s behind Brilley's time


Kamikaze in 2nd, pretty close to the pole time


A bad lap from Vilela, only 14th place at the moment for him


World Champion Maverick now in 5th


But not for long as Nikolov beats his time


Silvestre with the 16th fastest time


Good lap from Silva, 6th place for him


Marinescu just outside the top 10


Two places behind him now is Johnson in 13th


7th place for Tafuro


4th position for de Boer


With the first runs completed, here's the standings




Byrne improves one place to 13th


Edvardsen jumps from 20th to 15th


But he doesn't have this place for long as Hunsley goes a bit faster


Maverick with an improvement, but only in time, not in place


15th place seems to be in high demand today, now Copeman has it


Vilela leaves last place, and moves up to 14th


Silva now in 3rd


And Brilley goes even quicker


Personal best time by de Boer, but he stays in 5th


15th now for Silvestre


Tafuro improves only his time


McGregor jumps up a couple of places, 14th now for him


And Kamikaze beats Brilley's time!


Another one who wants p15, this time it's Marinescu


Second runs done, this are the current standings




Nikolov improves his time, but he stays in 7th place


12th position for Byrne now


Johnson jumps up 3 places into 18th


Big improvement for Antunis, 14th place now


8th place for Maverick


de Boer comes closer to Jantsher's time, but he stays in 5th


p14 now for Silvestre

Still 6th place for Girard, although he improved his time


The battle for p15 goes on, now Copeman has it


But not for long, now it's McGregor


Hunsley improves one position


Kederer too with an improvement, but only in time

Bulgaria statement

We expected to be in top 5, not a bad quali though. It will be hard to progress in the race, as Hungaroring doesn't offer too much places to overtake. However, with a good strategy we can gain some positions, which will be crucial. All we can do now is to train pit-stops and read weather forecasts very carefully

Finally a decent qualify for Portugal.
The team is looking forward for the race.

My Grand Prix 4 Files
I'm a total dick. How many people can say that?

8th is again not what I hoped for, but at least it will be hopefully good enough for some other points. Generally the season is over anyway for Switzerland, the only goal for the team can be to secure a decent slot position for next year. Nice coverage, by the way.
