Bleurgh, that was not great, but then with no points spent what more can you really expect. No points no gain i believe is the saying, so naturally we suffered. Onwards!

Some interesting things:
-11 races with 11 different winners
-2nd and 3rd placed without a win
-France scored points in every race
-Sweden leads the Championship, but they're also the team with the most DNFs

I think I also won the championship last year with only one win, so consistency is the goal. For Switzerland this didn't work out this year and then you see where you land.

And of course France scored points in every race, as often as they've bumped into other cars and turned them around

Hey everyone sorry i got caught up in revision and forgot about the deadline passing by. I see True did the perfs which is awesome. I just spoke to him but i will have time to do the quali/race tomorrow and post quali for you all if he has not already started

Sorry Maikel, but i can honestly say no pm was ever received by the GPGNC account, i even have proof here:



Your last pm was for hungaroring, so im not sure what happened, i know for sure it wouldnt be because the account mailbox is full.

On the other hand, i would like to apologise to Chris. For the last two races i've completely forgot his boost request (they were made in advance), so i would like to apologise to team USA and i hope it hasn't had a negative effect.
If Ben hasn't run the round, i've included the USA boost for this round so hopefully it will be in time.

Hello Everyone its Nations Cup time. We are here at Estoril with qualifying for the Portuguese grand prix. As we start the run in to the championship for season 2 every lap counts so without further ado lets head down to qualifying where the forecast tells us there is not a drop of rain in the sky.



The first man to set a time today is Hunsley



Which Marinescu cannot get close to



Vilela goes a lot closer though



Silva goes better than close and takes a tenth of Hunsley's marker



Antunis splits them both



Tafuro brings the time down further



And McGregor takes three tenths out of that and it looks like that's the kind of time to expect for pole



Maverick takes provisional second but a bit off McGregor



Alpenstrom goes and blows that theory out the water about the pole time by going 2 tenths quicker for a new best



Girard struggles with his first run



Vukcevic makes it onto the second row almost a half second back of Alpenstrom



Standings after everyone has completed their first run







Marinescu sees his next attempt ruined by traffic



Hunsley also has traffic troubles the short lap seeing a lot of congestion on circuit



Nikolov improves to 9th



And McGregor cannot respond to Alpenstrom



Edvardsen sets a beaut to go up to 3rd place



Silva improves to bring himself up to 7th place



Brilley struggles and brings Vukcevic down with him on this run





Johnson improves his time but not his position way back in 19th



Kederer breaks the top ten



Jantsher has a slow lap and is traffic for McGregor too



Girard is struggling and will hope for better if he wants to maintain his run of scoring in every round



Silva gets caught up with everyone entering the pits and it kills that lap



Brilley makes an improvement but is lacking pace today



Kederer improves his time but cannot improve on position



Marinescu is a couple tenths off everyone today



Copeman struggling under more traffic seeking a clear run



Maverick made a mistake in the first sector to end up with that laptime



Jantsher gains a couple of places in the crowded midsection of the pack



Vukcevic improves even with traffic in front of him



Standings with under ten minutes to go







Hunsley puts himself slap bang in the middle of the field with that time



Copeman makes some headway



And with not much happening in the last ten minutes he is in fact the last man with a chance to do something in qualifying just crossing the line in time



Brilley improves his time but just not his day today even if he improved throughout unlike most others and will be 19th tomorrow



Copeman fails to take his shot with the clear air



So with qualifying over here are your official standings with Alpenstrom running away with it from that one first lap

Hmm 5th is ok, but with max boost spent i did hope for a little higher. Then again so much boost was used this race, the front of the grid is basically rocket propelled . Should be an interesting race.

Nice coverage, first of all.

6th is again not what we hoped for but at least a decent result. We'll though have to transform this into some points this time!


GPGSL : Team Owner of 'Maverick Track Performance' (MTP)

Big disappointment for the Portuguese team! Spent 500 with boost for the home race and only get 8th.
We hope for much better in the race...

10th place is a good base for the race. Points should be possible, but I don't expect that we'll be able to fight for the top places.

@icky: which version of Estoril are you using? This one looks different to the ones I have.
