Thats something i never understood.
You may have everything the same on 2 computers and sometimes in 1 of the PCs theirs another checksum for the track.
I know this because in my years as web admin at hotlaps.de Gp4 i passed my Gp4 installation to a few competitors and
they got different checksums for interlagos.

OK, that's good to know - maybe we won't use slot 3 again!!

So Jorge has taken a strong lead in the early stages, but the competition behind is fierce.

I'm very happy with my setup (slightly more downforce than Jorge, but I need it in the Williams). Just need to do some more laps.

Nice to see we have a new competitor making their debut for Red Bull this week, welcome Thomas ;).

So just to clarify a rule that is maybe not clear to everyone:

Quote
GP4 Central Championship Rules
1.2 : Participants must use the same name and number throughout the season.

You can see there are two entries for Thomas Costa on the leaderboard right now, This is because, having switched to Ferrari, Thomas' number was changed from 1 to 3 and so he effectively becomes a new player under a new number. Hence the double entry.

Players are reminded that, once they have submitted a valid entry for the season, they must stick with that number for the duration of that season, in order for the GP4 Central system to be able to track their results.

Player numbers may be changed at any time by request to myself.

@Thomas Costa - I will remove your old entry (Red Bull) shortly.

Maybe next season we can follow a bit the F1 2014 calendar and add a fantasy track
like for example Pasargada track. Its a really nice to drive, very challenging corners.

Yes next season we will follow at least some of the real F1 events (Spa and Monza perhaps).

You have a link for Pasargada? The original download link is dead :(

Cheers Jorge, I'll check it out.

I was thinking Singapore is another track I want to "follow" next season, I think that would be an awesome hotlap track...

Yes - I was going to announce it after Brazil, but you caught me ;)

Next season I want to follow the real F1 season for some rounds, and that will include Monza, so I have changed this season's Event 8 to Canada instead.

Also for the remainder of the season, all events will be 10 days long, instead of 11.

Wow what a close finish! Supermonty takes his maiden victory by just 2 hundredths of a second to close the championship gap to Jorge to 2 points.

Mario Jr and Thomas Costa were very close in 4th and 5th, and Eric brought home his Lotus-Renault for more valuable points with a PB of 6th place ;)

Well raced everyone! (Y)

For the next round we will face the "Green Hell" - the Kleine Nordschleife :-O

Notice of Championship changes

The following changes will take effect from the next round of the Championship. Participants, please take note:

1) Weather type must be set to Realistic and not Custom in GPxSet. Rule 1.3 has been updated.

2) Future events have been shortened by 1 day to 10 days instead of 11. The Season Calendar has been updated.

3) Event 8 has been changed to the Canadian GP instead of the Italian GP. This is due to the Italian GP moving to Season 2. The Season Calendar has been updated.

Thanks Jorge, it was a great battle ! I'm proud of my performance with keyboard. I think i had a very good setup, the car was very fast and nimble, particulary in the fast double-right corner after the straight line. Boromo is a good-builded track, nice to drive.

Klein Nordschleife will be an another great race, i'm impatient.

Regards

Hi Tom,
Just tried submitting a lap, and I'm getting an Invalid Replay message:

"Track checksum should be 2fd27f3d or 5c60c7af. Check your track files."

I think I've got everything set up right, track in the correct slot etc.

Cheers,
AUS_Doug

EDIT: And bravo to drt01 & jcaranti, a brilliant track guys; I normally get bored with tracks that are this long, but yours is fantastic.
