I was wondering why my wheel input seemed to be alittle irratic and was looking into a fix... until i saw this...

tv viewers probably see cart and f1 as a perfect world of software assisted driving---how totally far that is from the truth, im not totally sure that piloting an f1 car (full time) is for anyone who is playing with a full deck... (not that i would turn down the job) = )

I played Codies F1 2012 on a simulator at the Pirelli stand during the Canadian GP weekend, and I can assure that my wheel inputs (very realistic wheel btw, I should have asked them what it was lol) were erratic and jerky, but I was fast lol. Fast enough round Asutin to earn a Pirelli hat woohoo :)

That's me done for the round gentleman; Just can't seem to get that .150 of a second to break into the 1:13s, but I'm pretty happy overall.

Congrats to jcaranti on that lap as well, that is something special.

Well driven everyone.

Grats to all who drove... hotlapping is a fickle friend---sometimes you can burn a hotter run and other times she turns her back and says "no-mas" i for one was happy to be back in the car...with some damn good drivers...thanks Pilots... = )

Final Standings for Round 5 at Canada.

A dominant display at one of his favourite tracks by Jorge, and Supermonty looks to have settled the battle for second in the championship with another fine lap. The podium is completed by Javi Simracer in an excellent 3rd place on his championship debut!

Great to see some new faces joining us even at this late stage. That bodes very well for season 2.

Well played everyone! (Y)

Yeah ! My best result ever, I was under the 4 seconds gap if there weren't some aliens pluging some incredible laps under the 1'13"

Im feelin that EM... i drove an "out of my head" lap early-on...didnt save the set...got back in the car and couldnt break 17---i felt like a 1 hit wonder. Half of the fight lays in "Where" you can grab a 10th, or a half... thats what makes f1,f1. A game of milimeters and miliseconds...but mostly ya gotta beleive you can find it, if you cant you wont, and i didnt...lesson learned---fight on Mate...

Edit... in the next round are we racing for a fosters or a stiegl... cause i thought next week was a no shrimp on the barbi race...

*Shudders*
If we're racing for a Foster's I forfeit.
There is a very good reason we export so much of the damn stuff; no-one here will drink it!

Hey Pilots,
Im kinda guessing were running the new track for the BBQ meet, i think i have it loaded correctly even though i see the orig loading screen---cause in my gpx track edit list @ no 1 slot is the S1CT01 file, which is the new track (plus theres a bunch of LG banners and stuff i dont remember as orig stuff. Im trying to get to know the track alittle from the tv view so i dont blow a bunch of time on just that---landmarks are few and its going to take some time....thanks guys

We are using slot 17 for this event, and the dat file is called adelaide.dat, not S1CT01.dat. Please check you have downloaded the correct track? I recommend submitting an early "banker" lap so that you can be sure you have set everything up correctly. You don't want to spend time perfecting a lap only for it to be invalid for some reason.

Round 6 (Season Finale) at Adelaide starts today

A reminder to participants that you must install the track by using GPxTrack. Using other methods will mean your hotlap is not accepted.

But you managed to install the track for the previous event, so what's the problem? Just download the track and point GPxTrack to adelaide.dat.
