really?it's strange that it didn't happen :S

My GPGSL Career
Pretty good job by Connor Steer to get 12th, hoping for similar results to him when it comes to qualifying ;)

I for one don't doubt the result at all! I think a lot of people are frustrated at this result because they used boost and didn't get a good result, but so did lots of others.

The only way we will ever see driver boosts definitely making a difference is if we have a perf variance of 0 instead of 600. A base perf of 16050,600 means GP4 will randomly select a level somewhere between 15750 and 16350. When you add the driver boost of 100, then GP4 will use a range of 15850 to 16450. Thats still a combined range of 15850 - 16350, so not much of a difference really.

5 x WCC - S5, S6, S7, S8, S10 | 4 x WDC - S5 Nick van der Voort ; S6, S7, S8 Ed Greenhalgh | 2 x WTC - S6 Stuart Ingers; S8 Andrei Sevastian

VanSmirren Motorsports sold!

Breaking news today as Ricardo van Smirren asked all journalists to attend a press conference in the VSM hospitality this evening.
As of next season VanSmirren Motorsports will be no more... The spot is sold to John Maverick and his company Kult-Fernsehen.de Racing.

"I am very sad to have to pull the plug out of this former championship winning team. But after recent difficult seasons i have decided i want to focus on my personal racing career again. I have had a great working relationship with John Maverick last year and as he is first on the teams reserve list i felt this was the moment to sell... He knows what heritage he takes over and knows a lot of the team personal whom i hope that could stay."

Ricardo stated:

"The sale will not affect this season, I will stay on as team principal and Ben, Michael and Chris will stay on.
Again I'm not leaving the series i just want to try and find a race seat and win races again."

An seemingly emotional Ricardo van Smirren then left the shocked press....

P.S. I want to thank everybody involved in VSM for all the good and fun times. We had highs with Philip and Marko and my personal favourites Chris Copeman and John Maverick who brought the 'fun effect' back to me. But we also had a lot of lows, HOWEVER thank you for the memories. I hope Ben and Michael can bring VSM some more poles and wins for the statistics...

THANK YOU ALL !

"If in doubt, Flat out."

It's Friday it's Friday....err no, that was a typo, it will be Thursday 9th June. :-)

There will be another testers feature coming up, possible R8 or R9, I'll confirm that as I sort out upcoming RD's.
I'd like to thank the RD's for the help that they have given and also offered for future S6 events. It is very much appreciated. :-)

I am really saddened to hear the news that VSM has been sold. I desperately wanted to bring some glory to Rico but it seems i cannot do that no more. I hope Rico succeeds in his racing carear and i can give him some joy with results for the rest of the season. I hope i can put a smile on the face of my team boss in the following races and advertise myself to a new team i guess...
I wouldn't worry too much, there's a long way to go to finish this season.
Latest news is that Imola has a guest RD and it will be a feature event for the testers.

Seems some people miss the boost announcement, so I thought I'd better scream ;)

Yes, it's a pity to see another foundation team leave the category.

I think Alexandre Koemmerrer (username: AlexSchumi) made the logo, so maybe drop him a line if he doesn't see your post.
