Errr... what I know is that Roger Penske wanted to sign him after he ended the F3000 season, in which he was battling for the title with Nick Heidfeld, and then oficially for the 2000 season. I didn't know about conversations with Arrows, however, there were rumours of a possibility that Benetton wanted to sign him, as Astromega was kind of a "Benetton Jr." team. I would have been extremely happy with both possibilities, but the CART one was more possible... not anyone beats Al Unser Jr. in his first race!
