Laguna Seca.... that track brings so many sad memories to me and to all Uruguayan racing lovers... in the 1999 CART race, during the qualifying, Gonzalo Rodriguez was killed in a massive accident at the corckscrew, which DID NOT have an appropiate tyre barrier. I felt so sad and angry that day... "Gonchi", as he was nicknamed, was almost confirmed as Penske's official driver for 2000 alongside Greg Moore, and still is the most successful Uruguayan racing driver...
Sorry for the speech guys, I felt nostalgic and started asking myself "What could've happened if...?"

Memories apart, I look forward to the FP, I feel very confident after a good job at the Feature Race in the Hungaroring. Bring it on!

Carlos, I was under the impression that Gonchi had a contract with Arrows for 2000. Maybe I'm wrong, but I'm pretty sure I saw someone with a bit of evidence of the move on Autosport's TNF. Like you said, it's such a shame he was taken from us before he could really show off to everyone his full potential.
