Ladies and Gentlemen, Round 5 Laguna Seca USA Grand Prix is now on hold.
Management is currently brokering a deal that may see a new team on the grid for Round 5 and the remainder of Season 6.
Round 5 perfs are also withheld. Hopefully the delay will not be too long.

Wow that really does sound big! A new team?! Presumably it will be John Mavericks team as it is top of the waiting list. I can't wait to see what will happen

John Maverick, Co-CEO of Kult-Fernsehen.de Racing team, invited a big amount of journalists to an official press conference at Laguna Seca.
Ladies and Gentlemen, thank you all for coming here with such short notice. I know that my management informed you not long ago, that I will not give any statements. However, I feel that it's time to do so.
I'll make a long story short. The last 48 hours have been very confusing and many rumors emerged. To end these rumors now, I officially declare that the new team which was mentioned in the GPGSL Announcement was Kult-Fernsehen.de Racing. But due to some very confusing issues, we will NOT enter the series here at Laguna Seca GP. We were offered this option, but decided that we were not ready to enter such a competitive series without further notification. Although most of the infrastructure is ready, as well as one car is, it would have been an enormous effort to bring everything here in time...despite of the very low chance of being competitive at all then.
Yet I can further announce, that Kult-Fernsehen.de Racing has signed a buying-contract with another team just minutes ago. It is important, however, for you to know that this buying-contract is dated to the day after the last race in this season. That means, just to clarify it, that Kult-Fernsehen.de Racing will not enter this season, but next one. This gives us enough time to prepare everything necessary and to hopefully be competitive next season. Additionally this enables me to end this season with ART, where I feel very comfortable. I would have hated it to leave these guys again after only 4 races.
Furthermore we have agreed to keep silence on the topic which team we have bought. It is up to their team owner to decide when the right time is to announce it. I ask you to please not disturb me or anybody else of the future team with questions that neither of us will answer. Additionally I ask you to please keep rumors low. It will be early enough the time when you will be informed.

I'm back after drinking some (too many...) pálinka after I won the last GP.
I'm very happy to see the next race will be delayed, 'cos I'm definetly not ready to race again...
