GPGSL Season 6 Complete!

Posted by GPGSL
OK, I'm back. Internet died, and it's only just come back on... blasted Orange :-(

As for my result in Austria, I'm happy with 11th. Two more points, although it might have been a few more if I hadn't have taken that trip through the gravel. Still a good result I think. Nice job by Jake in the other TGP car :-)

20 perf points deducted is way too harsh for my 1st inactivity in about 4 whole seasons, or so...
There is not anyone a 18-20 years old, and having vacation this times. I have to work very hard first, than family, than the little sport club I manage, an so on... And then if I had time, maybe post something just against inactivity... If I had to say something, I will do...
Wasn't aware of the inactivity check, ok, that's my fault, but that can ruin the whole fun of being a member in this series...
12th and 13th, not exactly what I hoped for with +8 boost, ah well let's hope we survive the race!

If you are racing, keep on racing and get some points!

Have finally updated my FBF1 team's livery (please PM me if you would like to be one of the drivers) to remove the confusion.

@MDBSnake Using your template I have finished the livery, click here to download the tga version (I still have PSD with many options available including different car numbers and Pirelli logos).

I had problems trying to make it a TEX file because it ended up at 21MB, could someone correct this once drivers are finalised?

---

EDIT: I appreciate my position in the waiting list; this livery is now race-ready and I'm not expecting to be given a slot for quite a while. Just means I'm ready if others aren't.

The rule has always been there. I'm sorry to say this, but ignorance is no excuse. It is every members responsibility to read and understand the rules. The activity rules are there for a reason, it is to prevent the unfair situation of active testers, but inactive racers in the main series.

Why are you looking for drivers when your team is 8th on the waiting list?

Probarly because 4 of the first 5 on the waiting list already stated not to step in if the oppurtunity arrives.

My GPGSL Career
ONEHD BUILD UP SHOW AHEAD OF THE AUSTRIAN GP

MAC Racing has confirmed that the services of there German star
Chris Hinz will be retained for the next season.

A statement by the team principle Nathan McGregegor was given
a short time after Qualifying at the Austrian GP ahead of today's race.

"We are delighted to have retained the services of Chris for
another year. It has not been the easiest of introductions for the
team this season but he understands were the team is heading
and we still think he is the right man to take it there"

After being questioned about there other driver,
Jack Hunsley, McGregor had this to say.

"We are still in negotiations with Jack, but we are confident that he
will accept the extension on offer. A stable driver line up is an
important ingredient in a new team and we feel we have that here
at MAC Racing"

BREAKING NEWS

It has just been confirmed that Jack Hunsley has also agreed to
terms and will driver for the team next season. With this distraction
out of the way the team can get on with racing and try to salvage
something from the back half of the season.

Yeah, I blame my ignorance too buddy, I haven't read the rules in a LONG time.

Always thought there was a 1) warning, no reduction 2) reduction 3) boom, demoted!

Ah well, the rules are there, sorry for us buddy! But its okay, we have aces up our sleeves! ;)

Besides, surely Oakley (who was warned YET again recently) should be booted out now!? He has definitely had more than 3 warnings!

Not to mention the promises early this year. Sorry, but that isn't fair on those in waiting who would actually have not just a blue moon post, but genuine contribution to the league activity.

No personal issues, but the principle, rules and promises broken.

BBC Build Up Coverage

Eddie: I think Daniel Thomas has a chance of winning this one, he's shown good pace. He out qualified his experienced team mate and as long as he doesn't make the same mistake he did in the feature race.
Jake: Your wrong Eddie, Daniel's team mate is Ross Cartwright who is 5th on the grid.
Eddie: My apologies for the mistake
Jake: Martin Brundle is on the grid.

Brundels got a long walk to the commentary box. He's on the grid in Turkey and he has to get to Austria. ;)

@Daniel: your team-mate is Ross Cartwright. He's 5th. You're the midtable pack (in 12th, if I recall).

@Dan Mills: Nope, Phillip has only had two warnings - the warning he recently received, and the first warning back at the start of this season's activity checks.
