Great cockpit.

About my angry "during" the race, after analysing images, I saw that the accident between Greenhalgh and me was absolutely normal. I think Greidanus think the same about our accident! ;)

TNR's Glen Sheppard Post Race Statement....

A terrible race for me, with the early collision with John Warrington. I braked aggressively, and unfortuneatly tapped the AMR. Obviously it wasn't intentional on my behalf, and it ruined my race which I had high hopes in.... I will go and buy John a beer in Austria.....
As for the rest of the race, well... clearly I had an incident later in the race to get me way back to 21st. Terrible day. We move on now..... Bring on Austria.

Kult-Fernsehen Racing press-conference

Shortly after his 2nd position in the race and the official GPGSL press conference, John Maverick entered the VSM motorhome for the already announced KFR press conference

"Ladies and Gentlemen, first of all please let me say that I'm very happy with my 2nd position today. It was a hard and unpredictable race in the first rounds but the team did a brilliant job and enabled me to drive to 2nd from 8th. I'm very pleased with that and I was really a bit sad that I would leave ART at the end of the season.

Of course until today most of you have thought this is because I am about to become team owner of KFR. This, however, Ladies and Gentleman, will NOT happen. I have to announce, very heavy hearted, that nearly our complete factory premises, all our cars, all office buildings and lots of important information burned down to earth on Friday night. Literally, we stand here with empty hands. It has yet to be investigated how this could have happened, but one thing is clear. We will not be able to re-build all this and get another competitive car built until the start of S7.

This is why we have informed Van Smirren Motorsports about this disaster and Rico van Smirren, as the great guy he is, took our pre-buying contract and burned it as well - as a sign of solidarity and to allow us to put any possible resource into the reconstruction of our facilities. We are highly disappointed that we cannot use this chance to bring our own team in. We had worked very hard for that chance...and now all of it was destroyed by this fire. But we will not give up. We are aware that the team waiting list is currently full and closed. But we really hope that the GPGSL will consider us again, as soon as it will be re-opened, to enter it at the bottom. We also know that it will take years to get such a chance again...but we will wait patiently.

As for myself, I will put very much effort in the reconstruction process, but I will nevertheless remain in the series as a driver. I got some interesting offers before the announcement of the KFR team entry...and I'm confident that I will have a drive next season.

Thank you very much for your attention, Ladies and Gentlemen. For further questions please annoy my PR manager now."

Out of roleplay: Lol, announcement after announcement and Rico in the middle of nearly all of them. You're really a busy guy! ;-)

And Ruben, the cockpit is really nice. It's great to see the screen again. Thanks for that effort, mate.

And...I already hate you all for all these driver changes. Gosh...think on us poor performance file creators/checkers ;)

Ah dear john, that does not sound good at all... hope everyone involved in the team is ok, and that this mr "Paolo.T" is caught asap, sounds like a right rough character ;-).
Soooo just to check... does this that VSM's slot will now be taken by Team Alpha (SchueyFan) for next season? Or will there be a further VSM press conference on the matter?

Will Kittleson be a test driver for VSM or is one of the current race drivers getting kicked?

Impossible.On Friday night I was...well.......I was sleeping!!;)

My GPGSL Career
VSM Press conference

After the shocking news that arrived to us today regarding the (possible) terrorist attack on John Maverick's KFR headquarters, we at VSM to wait and see what would happen. Hours after the news arrived, Ricardo van Smirren walked into a disillusioned Dean Kittleson.

Ricardo: "I ran into Dean [Kittleson] earlier today who was clearly unhappy with the way things were going at SCR. I then invited him in for a drink in the VSM motor home, where we talked about life and our earlier working relationship in the w300. Next thing I knew, we had signed a deal by tea-time for Dean to drive for VSM for the remainder of this season and the next."

Thus, as previously stated, we at VSM can announce that Dean Kittleson will be driving for our team for the remainder of Season 6 and for the entirety of Season 7.

Ricardo: "I am EXTREMELY happy to welcome Dean back. We hope that with him we can eventually in some seasons get back to the top as he has shown to be a Grand Prix winner. I'd like to thank Mal Stoddart for letting Dean go on such a short notice. It has been a very suprising few hours for all of us."

Dean had the following to say:

Dean: "I feel great to be able to re-establish a partnership with a close friend of mine in Ricardo [van Smirren]. I've had good results in the past [with w300 team Scuderia Minardi] when Ricardo has been my team boss, and when he offered to bring me into his GPGSL team, I was never going to say no."

Dean: "It's unfortunate to have left Southern Cross Racing in such acrimonious circumstances, but I feel that I needed a fresh start. Given my lack of experience in this sport, I felt that, personally, the pressure of expectation was getting to me after such a strong debut year."
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Dean will partner Ben Johnson in the race seats, as we are still looking for a new role for Michael Pedersen. I would like to thank him for his effort at VSM this season. Michael will be heading to Christel VXR next season at the latest. We will miss you, Michael!

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

"If in doubt, Flat out."
Good luck to Dean and Ben! I wish u all the best! :)

And Thank you Rico for giving me the oppertunity this season. :)
TIME OUT

Seems everything has become rather confusing - so before we go anywhere near getting properly ready for the next race, we will first sort out the driver line-ups, understood?

Lol, thanks Dean! Even me, who is involved in most ongoings don't get it anymore ;-)

Also be assured that the next perfs will need a while to be sorted out...gosh...guys. What have I started here? Lol!

SCR having to replace Kittelson with a relative newcomer in Dan Thomas

Christel sacking Muller, and signing a new guy for next year

It's all going on in the GPGSL tonight... Oh and the cockpit looks great Ruben :)
