Donington and Kyalami are allowed? I thought they werent because of permission issues?

I think the same applies for Valencia and 'Brinds Hitch', but I'm not sure.

Wow, there are many tracks I've never heard of... and only four votes, I have to choose wisely.

@Rod: Thank you for the work. Nicest presentation ever!

Sent my choices, hope there are some different and exciting venues next season.

Only four votes‽ Can I send all four votes for the same circuit?

As far as I know, all tracks that JC is listed as a co-author are off limits to the GPGSL, that would include Singapore, Donington Park, Kyalami and also I believe Road America.

Rolling Hills has a buggy wall, and Le Mans Bugatti has a problem with the pit entrance. Can I also suggest no ovals because quite frankly they would be boring!

I'm sure last season each member had 10 votes as opposed to 4.

And no you can't vote 4 times for the same circuit!

5 x WCC - S5, S6, S7, S8, S10 | 4 x WDC - S5 Nick van der Voort ; S6, S7, S8 Ed Greenhalgh | 2 x WTC - S6 Stuart Ingers; S8 Andrei Sevastian

I'm contemplating voting for an oval. It could be great!

We don't really want an oval, not sure how that made it into the list. You only get four votes to make my job easier lol. It's enough anyway to choose four tracks.

Can anyone please confirm whether we can vote for JC's tracks on the list (Dijon, Kyalami, ...) or not? I just don't want to waste my votes for tracks that can't get in the calendar.

You can vote for them, but it is guaranteed that they will not make the calendar ;)

(So yea, it's a waste of your vote)

Hey guys I've been away for ages, just trying to catch up on everything.

Got some little things to add to some of the discussions that have been going on in the thread.

Well first I'm delighted to confirm that John Maverick will be driving for MPR in season 7. He will be driving the #10 car alongside Charrel.

Also Matteo will be leaving the team. After the issues we faced at Silverstone we decided that it was no longer sensible to have two team owners as test drivers. So we now have a free test seat, if anybody is interested.

Now in regards to carshapes, I think it'd be better to just keep 2. While I like Dan's concept I would personally prefer to see Maikel's new shape and Matteo's shape used. It keeps a sense of identity for the series, which I feel is important.

Tyres, well I think that's pretty easy to decide on. I reckon a vote should be held just like with tracks.

And for tracks, well I don't see why Jorge could not be spoken too about them. I think if he was allowed to return to GPG then he would be more than willing to allow us to use them. Sorting stuff out with Jorge would be good for the GPGSL. We all want to see awesome tracks like Singapore on the calender.

Congrats to Aston on sweeping all 3 trophys too. Also ART and TNR for having great seasons.

I think I've pretty much covered all the stuff that's come up, so roll on Season 7. Woo!!

Mal, i think 4 votes is going to make it worse - theres so many tracks that a lot are only going to get one or two votes.

I say we pick 8-10 tracks, and rank them in the order we want.

allocate the choice number with points, add the totals up by incoming votes, ta da!

ie,

First choice..

1 Mar de Ajo

Second choice

2 Marfield

etc etc...

3 Monte Carlo

4 Montreal
5 Monza
6 Monza Junior
7 Mugello
8 Norisring
9 Olavarria
10 Oscar Cabalen

Then we just visibly use the number rank in each persons vote as a point value.

first choice is 1, means 1 point.

We add the points up. Lowest points = more popular. (excluding zeros)

The only reason I suggest this is because of the fact with literally 100 tracks or near, a lot will get just one vote. We could see 20 tracks at one vote - which to choose?

I dont mind assisting in vote counts if you need any help. Just my two cents!

Jenson drives it like he owns it; Lewis drives it like he stole it
