That is not going to work:

When I alone vote for, for example, Assen. It will get 1 point. Letz say Monza gets 10 votes. It will then have 10 points, which is more than the 1 Assen got, so Assen is then more popular?
But I do agree that 4 votes is a bit on the low side.

I too can help counting votes if you really need me to. And Dan i think if you did it as less points = most popular, you would have to give 11 points to every track the person didnt pick or something like that, otherwise it doesn't work i don't think (which is the point stefan makes )... we could easily just do highest points win...

Plus picking just 4 tracks is harder than say 10

Well, we could stick with just the four tracks, with first choice receiving 10 points, second choice 6 points, third choice 3 points and fourth choice receiving 1 point. How about it?

Zandvoort out due too many crashes? What is this for b.ullshit? I fixed the track last season and it was run without any problems. Very disappointing and odd decision!

Why is everyone making the track voting so difficult? Do it like last season; pick 10 of your favourite tracks, tracks with the most votes will end up on the calendar.

Zandvoort should be back on the vote list, otherwise the whole track voting thing is being ridiculous.

guys not understanding what i wrote, re read it.

tracks with no votes dont count, not ones with zeros (excluded). so it does work.

the reason i did lowest points as the indicator for most popular is because its easy to rank them 1-10 top favourite, as thats how most top lists work.

and for the guy getting the results and working it all out, he just has a number next to a track, and thats no extra work to allocate a 10 points to a 1st place, 9 to a 2nd place.

asking people to give 10 points to the favourite, and one to least favourite out of their top 10 might confuse some, as 1 is commonly 'first'. theyre more likely to get it the wrong way round.

youll get at least three people thinking this and getting upset by the results.

maybe i should have worded it better.

just get them to order them favourite first, and the results checkers do the rest of the maths. heck, we didnt even have to mention the way it is counted, just a top 10, in order, favourite first. simple.

No, it doesn't, because a track with one vote will have one point and a track with 10 votes will have 10 points. So the track with the one vote is more popular than the track with the one vote
