Computer says no I can do that. I'll make the assumption that you're not changing your nationality as well Connor.

The feature event? The purpose of the event is to give teams and test drivers track time. Here it is. Enjoy.
Points will be awarded as normal for Round 4 which is a Qualifying - Sprint Feature Race. 40min qualifying - number of laps will be decided by the RD. R4 broadcast by Chris Copeman.
Failure to pit rules and penalties will apply as per the league race series.

I've been reading through the rules, and it seems a bit unclear as to whether all drivers get boosts, I mean test drivers included. Can someone please clear that up for me?

h) Driver Boost
Drivers will receive 50 extra performance points for six race weekends they can choose themselves, the boost will be sent in by PM to GPGSL acount and in advance, before the deadline, of the coming race. Info on which drivers have boost will be posted together with the performance for that race by Stu (Stoopid). Boost will affect both qualy & race points. No boost is permitted for Round 1.
If a driver enters the series after the 3rd race, the driver will get 5x50 points to set.
If a driver enters the series after the 6th race, the driver will get 4x50 points to set.
If a driver enters the series after the 9th race, the driver will get 3x50 points to set.
If a driver enters the series after the 12th race, the driver will get 2x50 points to set.
If a driver enters the series after the 15th race, the driver will get 1x50 points to set.
Minimum or maximum boost at once is always 50 points.
If a test driver becomes race driver, he/she does not get any new boost, the boost will just be used in qualy/race instead of free practice.
Boost for Round 2 can be submitted after Round 1 Friday Practice.
Boost for Round 3 can be submitted after Round 2 Friday Practice etc.
Deadlines will be posted for Boost submissions as usual by Stu.

How much clearer can you get? As every driver in the series at the moment entered before the 3rd round, then they all get 6 boosts ... simples!

The latest gossip

Rumour has it that a certain world champion is in talks with a not-so-fast team (I'm trying to be diplomatic here) for a shock comeback. Both the driver and teamboss have agreed not to make any further announcements on the subject until the deal has been sealed. The involved teamboss has said to deny everything when he's asked about it until the official announcement is made.

Epic race, great result from all the boys at VSM, Ben and Michael drove a solid yet quick race.
I didn't expect any points after qualy, very happy boys ! THANKS !

Also i want to congratulate Chris Copeman with that big point haul for a new team. Congrats !

Bring on hungary, looking forward tyo the testrace.

Thanks boss after quali we felt we had to do a lot more and it worked out wonderfully. Maybe we are turning the corner slowly

Our data engineers are confident of that ! Luckiky you two can take place in our superdehyper simulator and we should gather enough information to develop our car into Top 10 qualifiers...

Thanks for the attitude, Stoopid, but nowhere there does it explicitly state that testers also get driver boosts. I know it doesn't state they don't either, so that's why I just wanted to ask to clear up the situation. This is the line that I found confusing.

It doesn't really explain itself very well.

the line means that tester takes the whatever boost he/she has left into racing should he/she become racer during the season.

Well, and actually it is self-explanatory...stating that the boosts which have already been used in FP (first hint that test drivers get boosts) are not renewed and that the remaining boosts can be used in the race instead of free practices (second hint) if a test driver becomes a race driver. But don't worry. Better ask than not if something is unclear!

Mmmmm, 2nd place in the drivers championship, 1st in the constructors so far..

Looking forward to the next race, I got the 2nd highest perf with my boost used + a team boost.
So I am very confident for this weekend, lets hope it all works out!

You are still under contract as technical advisor at Aston Martin Racing. If this agreement is broken I will have send the boys in clogs round to talk sternly to you
