If you state that you're not going to be active due to a holiday etc., state it on this thread - and you will be exempt from inactivity punishments during that period of time (like Glen Sheppard did prior to the start of the season - he'll be back with us next Sunday, if I recall correctly :) ).

Seeing as how I'm the one who does the checks, PM me with it.

And that goes for everyone else as well - if you're going to be absent from the GPGSL for a prolonged period of time, send me a PM about it as well as posting it on this thread.

Thank you ;)

Testers qualifying has been run...hopefully to be posted tomorrow...race shortly after...main qualy and race to follow at the weekend

Testers Feature Race Qualifying

Hello and welcome here to the Hungaroring for this special coverage of qualifying of round 4 of the GPSGL testers championship feature race. Guest RD Chris Copeman has taken his seat at race control and is ready to hit the green button to start this 30 minute qualifying session...

First out is Paulo Tafuro for MPR...

Which also means he sets the first fastest lap

Next is Somoygi for TSS and he takes the provisional pole

Next up is Paddock, who lowers the pole time also

Kederer puts his TSS into a provisional 2nd spot, while Thomas goes 6th and Pedersen 7th for Van Smirren...

Pedersen's team boss then follows him over the line in his Christel VXR and goes 6th, only to be followed by Rodriguez for ART and Juliano Muller in the other Christel VXR

De Boer pops up into second place

And Chris Copeman puts the other VSM into 11th place...

Rookie, Chris Stokel puts his Snake Motorsports car into 13th place...hopefully it wont be too unlucky for him...

A great lap from AMR's Adam Davies gives him provisonal pole...Gilson follows him over the line to go only 12th

Keely Grant nicks 13th spot

And Edwards takes 17th

Legge outperforms his team mate to put Tafuro on the second row...and McGregor then does the same to his teammate and takes 12th

Unable to match the pace of his teammate, Stuart Ingers comes in 8th after his first run. He is followed across the line by Van Reselaar and Worseling.

Here is the running order after the first runs...

Mills is first out for the second runs...

But doesnt improve his time...he had a lot of traffic...

Worseling and Thomas do improve however...

Only for Somogyi to spoil Thomas' party by taking 6th back...

Pedersen manages to get up to 6th

Gilson , Grant and Edwards all make improvements...

VanSmirren pulls a stonker out to put his CVXR001 5th

Stokel still doing well...

Copeman now inhabiting 13th

only to be hustelf straight out of it again by Van reselaar

Davies still sitting pretty after the second runs...

Knowing he needs to push McGregor is out early for his third run

Davies also has another go at his pole time but doesnt beat it.

Paulo Tafuro improves, but only to 16th

Rodrigeuz comes from nowhere to go 13th

Somogyi continues to underline the pace that TSS has here...

Pedersen now struggling abit

Legge on the other hand, isnt...

Edwards is doing too badly either...

Gilson makes sure both Tafuro's are in the top 10

After the third runs, and with just 7 minutes left, the field is finely balanced...

Copeman, now down in 16th, makes a break for it in the final runs...and gains one place..

Meanwhile, Thomas climbs to 11th

Tafuro goes 13th...

Keely Grant goes 18th, she won't be happy with that...

LATE DRAMA!!! Somoygi manages to smuggle his TSS onto the front row with a last gasp run through the traffic...

Also wanting to be one for late dramatics...Pedersen sneaks inside the top 10

With qualifying coming to an end here are the final standings....

Well done to Adam Davies who took pole position by 0.02 of a second, with the midfield tightly packed in qualifying it should make for an interesting race. Tune in again tomorrow (hopefully) for full race coverage.

Not a bad running in 6th! :) Had my hopes for a second row start though but couldn't improve anymore

Nick did quite well in 14th and Chris is close the the fastest time with only 6 tenths down, unhappily in this very close field it means 22nd ..

If you are racing, keep on racing and get some points!

It's so impressive that all of us are in the same second, clearly shows how competitive this league is.

As for me, 5th is good. I don't really like Hungaroring's layout, but I got by pretty well. Hope for some points for the race, although sharing the third row with Maikel can be quite dangerous...:-)

Stats: 139 Starts / 7 Wins / 9 Poles / 5 Fastest laps
I bet I had you fooled for a while there, Mr. Mills, but then... Bang! Where did that lap time come from? Sorry to whoop your arse once again! Shame, as I would've loved to've played a driver boost here. I presume tester points get handed out at the end of the race tomorrow?

Unless I'm very much mistaken... I am very much mistaken!

woah, we're miles off the pace here. good luck for the race Keeley & Nathan, you'll need it

used to be GPGSL's Nick Heidfeld
The field is tightly packed, but I should have got a boost for this round.
Looking forward to the race.
This is @#$%&. Team boost and personal boost and i'm 21st. I would like to bring this into question!

It sometimes happens Nathan, GP4 can be very cruel. I had a driver boost and only came in 17th place but only 0.3 of a second slower than my team mate on pole.

Well done Adam, nice one mate :-)
