"If in doubt, Flat out."
These stories and tallies and all are very nice, but FYI I'll clinch the title and force the number 0 upon you lot for season 6 ;)
yeah, Nick, that's what I wanted to ask, what's the point of becoming the champ if you dont get to see #1 on your car?;)*
not like we have a trophy or anything.

*not that you will :p

speaking of which perhaps someone could make a GPGSL WORLD CHAMPION user bar which would change hands every season and be owned exclusively in the signature by the champ? that'd be the trophy.

edit: OK , the point is you won the title and it is enough by itself ofc.

this season started our rivalty, who knows when it will end;)

@BAR#10

a userbar would be nice, anyway i would make a specific one for each season, not one that should be changed from champion to champion.but one that uses a race screenshot of the champion and "GPGSL SX WDC Champion(or winner)".I added WDC because would be good to make one for the teamboss that wins the WCC(maybe with the car render as background of the teamboss userbar);-)

Is it correct that the test drivers perfs and the race drivers perfs are calculated in the same way race by race?
tester qualy perf points are calculated with same system as race drivers qualy efforts. 15-1
tester race points are calculated by 12-1 system, while race drivers race pts 15-1 system.

Calculations are the same, the points systems slightly differ.

Yes, I got it, sorry if I didn' t reply you.

I thought so by reading through the rules and doing some calcs just wanted to make sure.

So being a race driver does not hold much advantage over being a tester perf wise.
No Adam, in fact it's a slight disadvantage at first view (for the race perf at least). But on the other hand the competition might not be as hard as in the race series (although that isn't true this season).
Having this topic for debate, anyway, I don't really see the point of having these different systems. But after speaking to Stu about this, already some time ago, he assured me that it's the way the GPGSLRD wants it and so I'm fine with it (even if it would be easier to check the perfs by having only one system) ;)

Why don't we research the possibility of an actual trophy? ;) If the price isn't too high and neither sending it worldwide, we can all chip in a few bucks - see it as a little contribution to the league who keeps us all together here!

PS, dont shoot me! Just an idea ^^ ;)

If you are racing, keep on racing and get some points!

The only difference is that the race perf points for Friday testers are lower. That's because testers don't actually race, so they can't have experience in that. It's a bit of realism we tried to get in.
Does anyone have Dan Mills email address? Can't contact him via pm, his mailbox is full. It is rather important. Could you send it by pm to avoid mail bots. Cheers :)

I think though that it should be higher for the race drivers on all fronts as surley in reality you earn more experience racing in a series than in the feeder series for example its surley better to be in F1 even at a lower team than in GP2.
long story short, so that drivers can build on their perf and be more competitive when debuting or reentering racing
