Oehh! I also made myself a new helmet, to fit the VSM Car..

I dont know if people ever post a picture of there helmet, but here is mine. I am not really good at it though.. and the driver1_2 file is weird, and not shown by gp4 builder. The star on the back is for my only victory in the gpg sl. If someone has the correct file can you please send it to me? I have 2 differend files, none of them show correct in gp4 builder.

couldn´t anybody tell us two weeks before the season starts when the cars needs to be finished ?!
I cannot make it finished because of my studies !

Guys, you see for next year. Could we please switch to the Arai 06, or even the 08. Cos teh 05 is becoming such a pain to work with now

Next season we will switch the helmet shape, that's already planned. We'll make an announcement on it probably mid-season so you can start sending in your helmets early. There will be a poll for the shape.
The S2-S3 break has been long enough now for everyone to update if they wanted to. If your cars are not submitted in time, your team will have to race on the S2 livery.
Teams are allowed car changes during the season. The only delay there will be the release of the S3 CSM Mod.
We should be racing by now. S3 should be finished late Oct to early November, December at the latest if we can keep on schedule. S4 will start in 2010, and I'm hoping for a shorter break between end of S3 to start-up of S4.

Don't think the gap has been long enough at all, but I suppose we have to live with it. Due to also finding out that the deadline was this weekend, where we also feel there should have been more notice, ItalianEnglish Dynamics will be starting with last seasons car. It is not ideal at all and preferably, I would want to start with a new car, but unfortunatly Kev has other commitments and had the belief still that he could paint it in time for the start of season 3.

Also means I have to rush the season 3 previews as well.

What is the final final final deadline? I'm finished. I just need Marko's and Sherwin's helmets and then I can send both DXR and MPR at the same time to You and SandroX for rendering :D

I don't mean to impose or anything, but I think we should wait at least a week, so everybody can get their stuff in, and so Gaulty can do a proper preview.

The new car was released on the 4th of June, which is five weeks ago. IMO that's a sufficient amount of time to paint a car in. I think seven of the eleven teams have launced their cars now, so it's definately possible. I understand it if you haven't been able to paint your car for whatever reason, but the other seven teams are eager to start the season. IMO the four teams who haven't painted their cars yet, have to cope with driving their S2 livery for a while.
