You can get the Williams at Lee's site mate

I put Brawn as 20 and 21 with Force India as 18 and 19 and put josekasts USGP as 22 and 23

The cockpits follow the same order as the teams mate, whatever team is car 11 and 12 will be Jordan, 7 and 8 Benetton, 18 and 19 Jaguar, you need to follow the 2001 order just like with the lods :)

As there is no full release yet I'm using the 2008 helmets but named in the 2009 order, with AlexSchumis Brawn helmets in place of the old Honda's, you can also find Buemi's helmet in the full 2008 pack so you have a helmet for everyone till the 09 release

Can't help you with the Team Art mate sorry, I don't bother with it

Hey, thanks to all for the fantastic job with all this.

My only thing is, I seem to have some problems downloading the RB5, FW31 and helmets package. Is it something i am doing wrong?

Still getting an issue with the williams car by Saint. The car shape comes up blank (white) what should I name the tex files as? I tried naming them williams, benneton etc but to no avail. All other cars have the correct textures and drivers.
Plus I am using a 2008 helmet pack with 2 updates for Brawn GP. The textures are all mixed up. Which is the best helmet shape? Should I remove the helmet textures manually and then input the new ones, or just overwrite?

help I really would like to play a full race one day..possibly before the 2009 season ends.

Any one can help me here. The fustration is palpable, suicide is near at hand. Tried searching for an Arai 06 helmet shape but the gp4 downlowd link does not work.

But I already had the Arai GP-5 RC but I am using the full 2008 helmet set by Daimon and I am getting this..




Also I have the 09 williams by Saint. I uploaded the shape and the textures into cars.wad but its all white. What should I rename the textures to?

@Darren There's no need to rename the tex files, only lods get renammed if you need to

Updating to cars.wad

CSM is wayyyy to laborious.
So I should rename the lod files even for the car to get them the tex files to work on it?

Hi guys,Just want to say that I have exactly the same problem like darrenj with the helmet.The only difference is that I'm using CSM.Anyone know how to solve this problem?

You only change the names of the lods to correspond to there place in that seasons entry list, so what number cars they have

But you have to do in naming the lods in the way they were in 2001

So whoever is car 11 and 12 this year, Toro Rosso will have there lods renamed to Jordan who were cars 11 and 12 in 2001

You don't ever need to change the names of the tex files

this is coming along pretty well but..But i can't remember the tema order for 2001.
Where would Brawn GP go?

Also text files have some interesting names like

hi_mp424_1_#2 (from KTC)

or

hi BGP_1_#22

do i paste these into the wad file as is?

2001 order:
1 Ferrari
2 McLaren
3 Williams
4 Benetton
5 BAR
6 Jordan
7 Arrows
8 Sauber
9 Jaguar
10 Minardi
11 Prost

you put those textures in the wad as they are, but they need to be compatible with the .gp4 shapes, you can find that out by opening the car in 3d editor or gp4builder and choose 'Action' in the menubar. Then 'Rename textures' there it should be the same as the texture name (only no hi_ in front of it, thats GP4's work depending on your graphics). If it's not the same you can either adapt the .gp4 files or the texture file by name.

So if your settings are high:
in the .gp4 shape it's: mp424_1_#2.tga
the texture's name is then: hi_mp424_1_#2.tex
on lower settings the texture then would be: mp424_1_#2.tex
