It's Heidfeld's 10th year in F1!

Believe it or not, he started at Prost in 2000, before joining Sauber in 2001 for a three year spell. Then he went to Jordan for 2004, Williams (who had BMW as engine suppliers) for 2005, before Nick eventually went back to Sauber in its new guise, BMW Sauber.

Since BMW's buyout of most of the Sauber team, they have done the following:

Pole Position (Bahrain 08; Kubica)
Win (Canada 08; Kubica)
Fastest Lap (Malaysia + Germany 08; Heidfeld)
Finished 2nd in the championship (2007*) and 3rd in 2008

* Mclaren were disqualified, so BMW would have finished 3rd.

Yeah I know. The mapping of the helmet shape causes the distortion. As far as the wing concerned, the mapping isn't the best. If you use the normal version of the shape (without the wing), the logo is okay. (I know, I've tried. )..

Someone said we need a new shape I'm sure you're doing your best Take it up with all the time you need, there's no need to hurry up...

Yeah you're righ. He's used this symbol since 2008, but the design around the "Q" is more complicated in this year. To tell the truth I'm not satisfied with this part of the helmet. I used real photos, but probably I'll repaint theses parts with pen tool in the future...

Hamilton's helmet is quite similar to 2008, but it has a grey 1 on the blue strip on both sides behind the LH letters (as he won the championship in 2008).
