Formula Renault Mod: Beta 0.6 Released

I've decided to release a beta version of the mod. It includes cars and helmets for 22 drivers of the 2004 season UK Formula Renault 2000 Championship.

Physics and sounds will be developed in time, but please feel free to attempt your own for the meantime. I personally find the mod playable with Formula 1 physics and sounds... good eye-candy I suppose!

I'm looking for file mirrors while gpgames finally set me up a downloads account, so please contact me if you'd like to host the mod. It weighs in at 10.2Mb in rar format.

It's now available on M4Driving in 2 parts, both around 5Mb each.

time time to fiddle with the mod and make it a CSM...
anyway some shots i have managed to crash the cars already

I see you're having problems with the teameditor tyre positions too! I've included tyre positions for GP4 Tweaker too for those who use that.

one problem is the sides of the tyres go funny :S

Oh yes, I forgot to mention you need to set the 'Rotate wheels via textures v2' option in your f1graphics.cfg to 0, as the rims are in 3D.

good stuff Xero - had a quick try and it looks pretty good - dont like default physics with it tho

@Leslie: At your Dragon Racing website? Sure... you can download them from M4Driving and stick them up. You can also repackage the contents into a single file. It would probably help!

Those screenshots you guys took make my mod look bad... wheels are out of position. I urge you to remove them once you have it sorted!
