Martini Paddock Racing is very satisfied with Indy hospitality and is looking forward to the entire weekend. We were solid in winter testing here, when it rained, hopefully we still have what it takes, to finish higher in a race, than in Austria, where Marko Aleksander lacked pace in the first stints, plus contacts with other cars didn't exactly help.

We hope won't be a rain lottery in qualifying, in other words that conditions will be similar for everyone. Also, Ross Cartwright performed very well recently in free practice, but this time around without any boost, just top 12 would be very satisfying.
Simililarly for Paddock and Aleksander, top 12 in qualy is our main goal, altough we wont mind if we finish closer to the top, which will not be easy, because of our horsepower.

A trip to the good ol' US of A this time around, we cannot deny the fact we are looking forward to our first race at the so called home of Motorsport, Indianapolis.

The rain is undoubtly going to be a big factor this weekend, and we have shown in these conditions we can impress. Monaco is a prime example, and whilst a podium may be optimistic thinking, we do sincerely hope we can weave something special this week.

Zak Tonks has been in fine form recently, his qualifying skills have shown that since he was promoted to the race seat in Belgium, and with a superb 4th in Austria, we have got to hope he manages to show us he has got the race pace to challenge the big guns of the series.

Indianapolis Free Practice

Weather Forecast: 81% Chance of Rain
Circuit Conditions: Damp, Light Rain

The pitlane was hoping for a dry session this morning, but light rain began to fall a few minutes before the practice session got under way. Ross Cartwright was the first out the pits, with everyone trying to get a quick time in before the rain became any heavier. After ten minutes the conditions were appalling, but the clouds seemed to be breaking. 15 minutes gone and times were tumbling fast, laps were now 2 seconds faster than they were at the beginning of the session. However the rain came down again and put paid to any ideas of quicker laps. So congratulations go to Will Ward and Team Shadow Subaru.

thanks for your help, but i already made around 100 helmets for gp4, i think i wont have a problem with that
as soon as i got a seat, i'll send it to you
