There is no need to teach anybody. If the perf guy is away, I'll do it. I'll get up the Excel file, fill in the points and I'm done.

Heh, That mean's it's one less thing for me to learn even though I could do with learning what each thing means

I haven't decided on videos yet. It's a maybe at this point in the game. Screens are much easier for me to do at the moment, although I am now set up to do vids, it's the post editing and the cost of uploading that's the killer at the moment.

The car numbers in the tester perf file are flexible. The race drivers in the perf have their race numbers but the testers are counted from 24 onwards. If a new test driver is announced the numbers will re-arranged to suit.

Alpha Motorsports Private Test, Silverstone

Our roving Stoopid Reporter Ernie B. EcclesCake and his trusty snapper A. N. Other were tipped off by Alpha Motorsports insiders that the team would be having a private test at Silverstone this morning. Although the circuit had been sealed off from prying eyes, apparently quite a crowd was able to get past the security as is evidenced by one of our screenshots. Unfortunately the pictures were also evidence that although our photographer was on the ball, Ernie was otherwise engaged chatting to the pitlane girls and wasn't able to report any times set by Bobby Neil and Randy Winston.

There is a rumour, that Double F will get a new mayor sponsorship. Due the fact, that Motorola has financial problems, Florian F. is in talk with a big software company from USA. Florian did send out some words to the press: "Well, I'm like Ron Denis. I want a good package of sponsors. Motorola has problems with the sponsorship and we are not sure, if say can support us longer. So, I talked with a software company in Redmond (Washington, USA). Oh did I say Redmond?"

just a question regarding the ttester perf file...

will drivers (if it happens) were to promote from the test role to the main driver role keep their testing perf values?

if they do, then wouldnt it be better that the perf vaslues were equal on all the cars, so as certain teams dont always steam ahead with wins by their drivers?

and if the test perf files are reset when they move to the main league, i guess it doesnt matter.

it would be useful though if there was some sort of cross-pollination perhaps?


Jenson drives it like he owns it; Lewis drives it like he stole it

1. If testers go into races they take their perf file with them
2. No, they are driving your' team's main car, so teams testers cars horsepower wont all be all the same, but the one racers provide for them.
3.not related directly to the issue, but remember though,in testing you do however have boost to pass system.
