Champ car world series Final version released

downloaded, ran install to csm, mod showed up, eveything was there but when I hit start it told me I needed csm version 1.25.1137. Checked for updates but none available. Anyone else have this problem, or will I need a complete fresh install of GP4? Thanks in advance!

Have you checked 'Daily' updates also, instead of 'Stable'?

Thanks for the quick reply Turbo Lover! Never had to do that, only used the updater in csm. Not sure how to check 'daily' updates.

go to your gpsaves folder where you installed the mods (i install my mods to C:\Program Files\Infogrames\Grand Prix 4\GPSAVES\Carsets\champcar 2005-2006)

then go to champcar 2005-06 folder, there is a CSM file which is called as CCWS06-05. open that file with notebook. there is a line as MinimumVersion, which has the value of 1.25.1137. delete that value and save the file.

after that you can start your mod with CSM.
i did it and worked for me.i hope it will also work for you too.

My CSM do not restore. Now my Gp4 folder works as a non-CSM mod, but I can't play with my other mods. CSM don't start at all....

i can always see the tarmac in cockpitview, seemes like there's no cockpit bottom, does anyone knows which file is missing to solve this problem?

thats not the proper cockpit, it was changed for the final version, the latest cockpit had legs showing.

It's probably a track-related problem, with the physic part of the road not corresponding to the graphic part.

nope i sinply used the version 1.0 instead the final

But you should use the final one...it's better
