Champ car world series Final version released

There is a few files missing but it doesnt affect projected shadows,that why i missed it,the fix is now online,its just a few small files or alternately set the shadows to projected instead of static or composite in the cfg..

edit: my driver names always change to those of my 2005 F1 mod, do I really need a clean install or is there an other way to fix it?

make sure you use the proper perf that comes with the mod and make sure you use the exe also..can you post your mod problems here please [www.racesimspitstop.co.uk] ..cheers

Yeah...that's true but I doubt tha I can handle 2048*2028 textures

Will you add an option to choose between mid-res (1024*1024) and hi-res (2048*2048)for cars and helmets in the CSM version later?

Guys, med-res textures ARE included, just choose Med Texture quality in the graphics menu of the game, that works really well, even with my poor computer.

i never use csm,i never have and this runs fine like everything else does..dunno when a csm version will be available,i have no interest in making one tbh..

Most guys in here use csm I guess, so they would be very disappointed..

well i dont use csm,so when csm mods come out it makes it difficult for me..plus i know nothing about creating mods for it..

Mayve someone else could do it for you? I know that you have problems with CSM and I understand if someone does not want to use it but for example the GP2 World series mod was also released as non- and csm-mod.
Concerning me I cannot afford to have various installations of GP4, plus CSM is really cool and simple to use (of course only if it works )

EDIT: I also don't say that only csm versions hsould be released...that's nonsense because I also know that many people prefer to install the mods manually...but I think today we have this really handy and (mostly) stable tool that it should be standard to provide both version..just my opinion. Of course I also know that it requires a little additional work to compile the files for for someone who knows how it works this is no problem.

i don't /can't use csm as it doesn't work for me.....but there will be a csm version available..got to be fair to csm users...being sorted now.....


i'll take the soap box now....

i hope other mod makers remember this when they release their works in csm
format only & won't respond to requests for non csm users....
they consider that instead of splitting the community ...release both versions...

our delay in csm....this mod was only beta tested days ago & we were ironing bugs out........

Isn't it easy to create CSM version with ZaZ Tools (Extra tab)? I think everyone can do it by themselves.
