Just drove a full race on the track and it's awesome. I saw Button drive into the pit wall near the entrance when he was trying to pit but a few other drivers were going in at the same time and they had no problems. Don't know if it counts anyway since it was Button.

I'm still thinking that Turn 8 is too tight in its 2nd half :(

Apart from that, the track seems perfect, considering the "lower" scale ;-)

to get the wad file, unload it through tsm
then go to the folder which you chose and the wad file will be there

I think that the pit entrance must be extended. First of all, the first 5 and the last 5 sectors of a pitlane will not show up ingame. Secondly, due the sharp turn, some cars will not slow enough to make a smooth pit entrance.

I've sent Tony the Jpeg. I hope someone can suss out the problem. Is it to do with the order of tracks in TSM? Do they need to be in a particular order?

It looks like your dat and wad aren't matched.
Hit 8 to bring up the trackmap, and see if it really is istanbul
Make sure you have updated TSM
Also is it a mod? The mod might have circuit dats in it, so disable/delete them.

I didn't know you could see the map like that, thanks Tony,

The map shows the Hungaroring, not Istanbul.

How can I correct it please?

Thanks for your assistance

Paul

You should have the right one, just disable the ones in the mod you're using if you'r using a mod.

I've downloaded the file, thanks jpfmw.

Tony, my standard GP4 is a 2004 set up that bigbrother sent me.

I gues TSM needs a standard installation to work properly?

Can I use CSM to turn bigbrother's 2004 setup into a loadable mod, then revert to a standard GP4 installation from which I can load the 2004 season I like, plus the 2005, 2006 mods and others?

Or, how do I disable the ones I'm using please?

What do I do wrong??

I downloaded the track file.

I opened the RAR-file

I doubleclicked on 'Istanbul^2005.ruh'

I choose directory: istanbul\2005

I press ok

I copy/paste the 2 .jip-files into that map.

I open GPxPatch and select in GPxtrack s1ct03 in slot 3

I start GPx

I want to drive track 3 what should be Istanbul then...

I get this result...

What did I do wrong?

you need to use either tsm to load the wad or inser the wad into your gp4 folder

I choose directory: istanbul\2005

I copy/paste interlagos2001.wad into your GP4 main directory.

Play :)

Paul if you wanna update to 2006 contact me mate ;-)

Great job on the track but installing it in TSM is a pain in da ass. Sometimes it works, sometimes not, think i should read the readme of TSM again ;-)
