Any estimate on how long before the low rez version appears after the hi rez is released?

How long is the track? Version 1.0 was way too short (4.7km). Is this version closer to the real length of the circuit?

Well, actually the track should be released now - that means shortly before the race as promised
But you'll have to wait one day longer
I just got some news. Fongu reworked some textures for his buildings and I want to use them for this track. I don't want to release another small update later only for updating a few textures - that would make no sense.
So I'll wait one day. I should get the new files tomorrow and then I can release a 'complete' track.

Sorry for the delay guys, but I think it's the best way and the new files will be better then the old ones.

It will be the final version - at least for 2005.

MAYBE I will do an update for 2006 but I am not sure. At first other track projetcs have priority. That's why I have included 2006 pitbox and pitstand textures - this way you can upgrade the track to 2006.

One of my favourite tracks is shanghai. I'm dreaming about your final version of this track.
After your lovely version of istanbul (I say that before seeing it...), I will wait with patiente and illusion your version of shanghai.

@ruboy: this track will have a different name to use it in the game or we have to put in place of other track? it happens before with previous istambul replacing interlagos...

If you need a Istambul race setup send me an email and ill pass you my 100% distance race setup for this track.

Istanbul will replace Interlagos - as Schaller's version.
But of course you can replace any track you want later.
