Sorry i wasnt clear enough but yes i did try and run the mod but no luck at all,crash to desktop thats why i tried installing manually...

@Lee - update csm and if it still crashes send me your log


TRACKS

This is a beta so theres some features still to come. One big one being the tracks.
For now, use TSM and create two profiles:
'2006a' with tracks 1 to 17 of the 2006 season (Sepang -> Suzuka)
'2006b' with Interlagos in slot one, and the rest empty.
Install the profiles and tracks correctly and you'll have the tracks in 2006 order

how do i install gp4 to a differen't directory? and when using CSM will i need the v9.6 patch? and the original exe or the updated v10 one?

what does this mean?

Ive finally got it running but not the way i like it,also it took absolutely ages so im gonna stick to manual installation,at least that works for me..

Great work tony, gpx and gp italia team! I'll be downloading it tonight when I get back from work :P

Just some few questions I'd like to know:

- Can I modify some things for PERSONAL USE ONLY, just adding new shapes such as e_shumi Ferrari 248F1 and suit it to my computer specs?
- How the files were locked? I'm curious, because in the future I might want to lock some works I want to do :P

i wanted to use the new cars with my personal cars.wad, cos i love my setup of gp4 with eschumis ferrari and a few other things not included in this, but the damn files are locked, i dont get why you did that, there are many people who dont like csm, and like to personalise there game themselves like myself, without being locked to one mod configuration, i sincerely hope this wont be so in the final version.

i'm wondering how can it be that some of the ppl can use this mod and some can't. I've tried different things and can't get it to works and i'm very frustrated about it.

i agree with AdamGilchrist. i prefer to update the game myself, will the cars be released separately? or will they be exclusive to players who use csm?

It does not have as to use the cars of mod and to install in my cars.wad? It is giving error. I already made this with mod's of 1988 and 1986 and I functioned. I did not allow to see the textures through the GP4Master, gives error. They can help me? Grateful

it installed fine, i can change what i want but when i want to press START i am not able any idea's ?

The files are locked and will stay locked for reasons Tony`s already explained guys.Some authours were reluctant to release their work given the current leeching problems
