Great News schaller, I really can't wait until release, but take as long as you to make it perfect.

Hi James. Lets see your Bridge. The master Fongu came with with some really great modles for the bridges. he game me all 3. Maybe we can incorporate yours somehow. I like the idea of making this a GP4 comunity effort, because I am definetly not a master modler or artist like some of the folks on this board. Allthough I do try :).

Also. Do we have anyone that is good at track smoothing? I have the track drivable, but I'd like to get it much smoother. I'm pretty much done with the SCT103.dat file, so if anyone is good at that, and would like to participate in bringing this track to life, let me know, or I'll continue with the smoothing later.

I am now going to work on the ground around the track. the existing grass tex is way to green for Istanbil. I need more of a parched grass surface and plenty of dirt.

Then add some more objects, flags, fans in the stands, cones, more advertisment placement. No release date yet. To much to do. Wont be to long though.

Well I thought I'd try and utilise my appalling 3D modelling skills to have a go at basing something round them. The results were... erm... disastrous I think would be the right word lol

So sorry to seem like I'm purposfully teasing about pics and a page for the AVI. I WILL have it up tomorrow. I was with family all day today. I want to getthe page up and running tomorrow (monday). Dont have to work Monday, so I'll have plenty of time to work on it. I will have updates then.
Must get some sleep now.

@JamesM- I did not get an email from you James. I'll check in the morning.

Thanks
Schaller

@Watercolors - Thanks for the great pictures. You have revealed grandstands I did not see and cant believe I missed. Plus you got some great angles of the banks of the track after turn 1 that lead into the bridges. Makes it so much easier to model.

Thanks

Schaller

Fantastic work, looks really good, couple of things i noticed.

1. Turn 1, doesn't look as 'downhill' as much as maybe it should do, maybe im wrong.

2. After the superb turn 8 the following straight runs down to a fairly quick chicane, didnt notice much run off there at the end of the straight!!!!!
