hey i read this new rule.

Hotlap should be saved with Performance Data.

if we save the hotlap normaly we should see this

now if we save with performance data we should see this

GP4 1.00 Hotlap for track 10: Magny-Cours
Level: Pro / Frame rate: 12.0 FPS
Race type: Practise Session: Unlimited practise
Weather type: Custom Probability of rain: 9%

ARB: F 01000 R 0050 Tyre type: Soft Drys
24/0/0/00/00/1400/30.5 [0.21] 23/0/0/00/00/1400/30.5 [0.18]
46/0/0/00/00/1200/46.0 [0.04] 46/0/0/00/00/1200/46.5 [0.04]

what i mean is if we save the one with performance data we can´t not see the checksum ........ just wanna know which one i have to save??

sorry about this... but i dont really know what some new rules mean.. can some one post what are rally the new one???

man that is so annoying. i am fastest in sector 1 and 2, i have about 10 minutes to go before midnight!, and i actually think i am going to improve a lot and beat villej, when i lose half a second to villej due to a huge slide at imola! so annoying

that slips me down to 4th! not very good. but i showed my potential

i am going to do everything in my power to win at my nome track! even if it means lapping everyday for hours!

good work on the updates, Neil.
Both championshipd are very close. Even I'm not too far from the kb leaders. Perhaps I can do better at silvestone, but sector 3 doesn't suit me at all. And its my first gp4 experience there.
i've done 2 laps and have
23.497
51.858
1:18.875
only about 10 seconds off the pace :)

Checksums are difficult to understand, but they're quite important. First, you will see different checksums according to wich gpxpatch version is uses. Then i.e. from version 3.33 gives more checksums than 1.31. It also tells the ComputerCars checksum. This it totally irrelevant at hotlapping, so you can forget about that oune. The other checksums should be ok if you did not mess with the physics. It should be checked by the jury, they can tell what version of GPxpatch gives what checksums.

For us at gp3hotlapping, we print out the data and then check it. It is however quite difficult to understand the checksums. The only one that is really easy to check is the one of the track :)

I wil try to figure out the exact for our gp3hotlapping site. I'll inform you guys here too if i found out anything important!

Good luck!

Dont think you can b-tone.

plus it dosent really matter, as the hotlap viewing will show it.

Marcow_nl

the thing is wont it be different due to GP4 and GP3?

and i have a fresh copy of GP4 for hotlaping nothing has been edited so wouldnt that mean there the proper checksums?

Yes, i thing GP4 has different values. You'll probably have to check your values with others. I just send an email to the developer of HOFxlap. Maybe he knows more. Keep you informed about it.

i hope to get down to a 1:18xxx!!!

paco - i have just checked all hotlaps, and korn_freak will email everyone regarding if they are legal or not, it is his dicision, but your lap is fine but i have a few tips for you

at magny, u r on the rev limit a long way before you hit the brakes at the end of the long straight into adelaide hairpin, this alone cost you a few tenths

try to make it that you are hitting the rev limit a few metres before you start braking for the corner. do this on the longest stretch of the track

also, looked like u had a bit to much oversteer into imola!

ps korn - i did that lastnite 10 minutes before midnite
