Sweet. Guess I'll be able to start on the race coverage in the next day or two. For the Watkins Glen track, which version of the track is the one to use?

Wow! 12 nations using full boost for the race. It's going to be a hard one...

That makes me quite nervous. Very strong chance of us losing the lead in the championship to Wales should we fail to do the best we can do with our allocated boost. Anything can still happen though, so we may still have a chance to retain the lead once the race is over.

Team Wales

Boostfest!! We've not boosted the most, nor boosted the least. Fingers crossed we can sneak a few points and close the gap even more the China
Whoa! Ok... not expecting points unless it's retirements galore, which is possible at Watkins Glen

Forgot to boost!

Well I didn't wanna score points anyway...

Got myself a new external hard drive today, so hopefully I'll be able to get the video recording working at the right speed (since it'll record to the external rather than the main hard drive). I'll see how it goes for when I run the race.

Certainly no expert when it comes to video recording, but I would've thought it's rather down to CPU, GPU and RAM?

Anyway, please make sure it records properly this time, if necessary lower the quality.

Qualifying has been run, and we have our pole sitter. Coverage to be up by later tonight. For the race, that'll take some time as I try and work out how to get it to record tge footage so that it works out properly. Otherwise, I'm most likely going to have to do a screenshot coverage.

I am sorry but... Whats is the problem with the recording? Maybe I can help a bit.

Is a problem with the FPS while playing the game and recording at the same time?

Lag I believe is the reason. Not sure why it would lag though, but I think it's to do with my computers USB ports (don't have any that are 2.0 or 3.0 so my external drive ends up struggling to record the footage). So if I have to record and get slow footage, then my only choice will be to try and increase the speed in movie maker. And if that doesn't work, then I may need to look into getting a new computer if I want to do video recording (and that may take quite sometime as I would have to save up for one).

But what is the relation between a screen recording and an USB port? What program do you use to record?

Fraps. And I heard that external drives struggle big time to do recording unless they are used through a USB 3.0 port.

So you have fraps in your USB and you save the recording directly there?? You cant use a hard drive or you have not one?
GPG Nations Cup Rd 15 Canadian GP – Qualifying

Hello and welcome to Watkins Glen, the venue for Rd 15 of the Nations Cup. We head into the final three rounds of Season 5, and the championship is really starting to heat up. China has been in control of the championship since the season opener, but recently has been delivering pretty disappointing results. Meanwhile, Wales has been eating into the championship lead with each passing race and now sits behind China with a 4pt gap between the two. With 20pts spreading out between the top 5, all points gained will be crucial for the championship contenders. Anyways, let’s check out how qualifying turned out for all the drivers.

The Final Standings

Tung was held up by Nikolov on one of his flying laps, which may explain why China wasn’t able to qualify higher up the field.

Congratulations to Team Brazil, our pole sitter for Rd 15. Be sure to join us again when we bring you the coverage of the race.
