GPG Nations Cup S5 R17 - Off-season

Posted by GPG_Nations_Cup

Apologies for showing the wrong boosts left in the standings. I must've forgot to have them selected as well before sorting the tables. I'll make sure they are fixed up when I do the tables for Rd 16. The boosts left in the image I posted here are the correct ones, so you'll need to use that for seeing how much boost you have left to use.

Team Wales
top of the pops, for now at least. really pleasing run of form after some lacklustre performances in the middle of the season. we will be doing our best to hold off the challenge from China and the other contenders in the last two rounds. fingers crossed the boost strategy pays off!
Can you check Serbia's boost again Greg, I've got them at 6700.

I did my math in Portugal so that I would have a full boost in the remaining races and not leave any boost behind, so 6500 makes a lot more sense

Perfs of all rounds sum up to 6700

in that case, they were wrong for a longer period of time than just now. If I knew this I would not have spent so much in Portugal, knowing it is a traditionally weak place for me.

Do you still have copies of the boost request in your outbox? Would at least help to see where the mistake happened. Don't think a case like this is covered by the rules, but I'm afraid nothing can be done at this point, since the 6700 points were applied in the perfs.

I only have them from Bulgaria on:
Rd 7 500/500
Rd 9 350/400
Rd 13 500/500
Rd 14 400/50
Rd 15 500/500

I guess I could manually check out what perfs were posted in the thread, brb

edit:
Rd 1 500/500
Rd 2 0/500
Rd 3 500/500
that's all I found. If you count them all up, indeed it's 6700 :/ ah well, I guess I can live without the 200 boost, since it was human error. Portugal is so cursed for me it even cursed my planned lack of boost xD

Team Ireland

We're 12th in the standings and it seems like we're little bit going backwards, hopefully we'll improve in next races.
Well, with full boost a failure is not completely unexpected ...

Pfft, still in the running but just mathematically, well aiming to not lose any more places!!

If you are racing, keep on racing and get some points!

Welp, we'll have to full boost these last two and see...

Already aiming for next season but doesn't mean we won't give a fight now!

Just FYI, I'll wait a bit longer with activity checks since it's Christmas and New Year and all, so I guess people are a bit more busy than usual ;)

Makes sense for this.

Great win, be good to end the remaining races of the season with some good places and finish further up the table.
