Sorry sorted! I really need to go through and empty it...

Merry Christmas to all in the GPGSL however, and of course to the team, who i believe have been allowed a day off today, or was it just the morning? ;)

Merry Christmas to all! Boxing Day here in Australia, and.....

The Sepang round is underway, with the Test Drivers having just completed their 30 minute test session. Results and screenshots i hope to have posted later today. A faily mundane and boring session, it must be said.....

GPGSL Team Owner Debut - Melbourne, Season 8 - present
GPGSL Test Debut - Hungary, Season 4. GPGSL Race Debut - Adelaide, Season 5.
Boring session? That can't be good.

Activity Check Results.

The lines are now closed. We can exclusively reveal that...THREE (3) members have been inactive between the period of the 11th-25th December.

These members are (drum roll...):

Ben Johnson (Scuderia Minardi) - Last active: not yet posted.
Adam Davies (MAC Racing) - Last active: 2 months ago
Ruben Greidanus (Team Shadow Mercedes) - Last active: December 10, 2012 07:34PM

As it is Ruben's first penalty of the season, he will receive a 20-point penalty.

Both Ben and Adam have reached the 3-check limit and henceforth will play no further part in the season.

The next deadline will be January 8th, 2013.

Thank you.

That will hurt my chances in this season even more. On the other hand, season is already lost.

My Grand Prix 4 Files

I'm a total dick. How many people can say that?
Besides Turbo Lover what will happen to the other two? Isn't it the 3rd warning for Johnson?

And Davies as well. They will both no longer play any part in the rest of the season. I'd best edit that post...

Well, they need to learn to post something to prevent getting a warning and putting themselves in a position where they get penalised. I'm assuming that changes will be made for Rd 5 as the penalties are applied for the next race. Is that right?

Tiny bits of excitement, with a few cars tangling with each other, all caught on the excellent GPGTV.org cameras....
Fingers crossed, i will get to post the screenshots later today sometime.....

As long as one of those cars wasn't me I'll be happy.

GPGtv.org welcomes you to Sepang, Malaysia, for a festive season running of the Test Drivers session. Held on Boxing Day, many drivers could be excused for being hungover, or just carrying too much weight in their belly's, after huge Christmas Day celebrations...

The weather forecast suggests no rain will bother the drivers....

And the 30 minute session is underway, but there is some light rain falling on the track...

The trackside cameras make that rain look worse than what it is....

The first of the flying laps have begun, and it looks like MPR's Gareth McCarthy has a great slipstream down the front straight...

He goes past the DMR of Sebastian Nell at the first turn....

DMR team owner Sheppard will be hoping for a good result today....

Maikel de Boer in the SCR appears to be on a quick lap....

And he tops the time sheets as he crosses the line....

AMR's Daniel Thomas goes 2nd quickest....

AMR team owner Stuart Ingers takes 3rd place...

Sevastian then takes 3rd place off his boss....

Then it is the super quick McCarthy in the MPR, going over a quarter of a second faster than anyone! The tow down the straight helped out nicely!

Brummer in the Snake goes 7th fastest...

Nathan McGregor didn't fare too well on his first lap....

Nor did Demon Racing's boss - waaay off the pace!

The replay might show us what went wrong..... Hmmm, tucked up behind one of the MAC Racing entries....

The Demon loses aero through the turns, and runs wide...

Off the track, smoking up the tyres under brakes.....

No damage done, so back onto the track.....

The top 8 times so far....

Positions 9-16 after the first runs....

And the tail end of the field....

Johnson heads back out for another run, with rain still falling....

TSM boss seems to have struggled early also! Team bosses haven't fared too well it seems....

McCarthy is back on track for another crack....

As is Daniel Thomas. That rain appears to be quite light now....

Rain basically gone.....looking dry!!! McCarthy has posted a BIG top end speed down that straight, following on from that great slipstream....

The usually quick AMR is over 10kms slower on those speed trap readings!

Stu Ingers is well off the pace on this lap - must have found trouble somewhere on that lap....

McCarthy can't back up the earlier lap time he set, some 0.7 slower this time....

Tom Pellatt in his TSM sets a time more expected of his ability and car....

Just under 18 minutes to go, with the whole fields lap times on display....

MAC Racing's Silvestre brings up the rear of the field....

One Racing's Rod Vilela is over a second off the pace at this stage....

A look at the timesheets for positions 1-8....

A look at the timesheets for positions 9-16....

A look at the timesheets for positions 17-22....

TNR boss Dan Mills is down the order at the moment, back in 16th....

Eric Moinet in the SCR is doing okay today....

Andre' Sevastian is holding on to 6th at this point in the session....

But Sevastian is over 0.6 slower than the earlier lap from MPR's McCarthy....

Mal Stoddart in the Snake Motorsports entry sits 3rd on the charts....

Uh-oh!!! Our cameras catch one of the One Racing entries off track....

Lets check the replays! It's Vilela, and it looks as if Moinet has rear ended him going into the last turn....

Vilela rejoins the circuit, bearing no visible damage....

HANG ON! It has happened again!!! This time, it is O'Brien in the Christel entry that we spot off track! Replay time....

Same thing looks to have happened, immediately after a previous incident, at the SAME spot on the track! Looks like the Snake machine has run into the Christel...

Wheels very, very close together - this spells trouble!!.....

They touch, both going airborne...

Facing each other - a few stern words under those helmets no doubt....

The top 8, with just on 7 minutes remaining...

Positions 9-16

And 17-22.....

Ingers holds 5th spot as he tries hard through the corners - back left up off the ground even!! LOL

Overall look at the times...

Demon Racing team owner waaaaaay down the speed charts. Not great for him.....

Daniel Thomas hangs on inside the top 8....

McGregor joins Sheppard as a poor performing team owner at Sepang.....

O'Brien struggling in the Christel VXR today....

Vilela battles on to set a fast time....

14 cars on track with under a minute to go....

The session ends, with MPR's Gareth McCarthy scoring the fastest lap

End of the session, with the top 8 times....

Positions 9-16 shown below....

And the 17-22 cars....

And that ends today's Test Drivers session. Wasn't an overly exciting session on track. Fingers crossed the race produces a bit more action and excitement for everyone.....
Apologies to drivers who didn't get any coverage during this broadcast. Our Malaysian tv crews didn't seem to know what they were filming....

Dissappointing session for me. I just didn't have the pace to stick my car into the top 10. And that touch with Stoddart only made it worse. He almost sent me into a rollover. And to Ingers, great job bringing home 5th. That is a good result indeed. And to Stoddart, you better not come near me for awhile. I am fuming and I don't know what I'll do if I get reckless.

P12: again a solid midfield-result -so lala..

Hope for my teammates to get a better result!
