Thats up to the drivers though, kovy was not told lewis was faster but kovy new he was big difference. Lewis still had other cars to pass, today was for the win and ferrari would have got max points with massa winning.

Plus today Alonso was not that much faster and was not even as close at that point as he had been.

Alonso is not leading the championship he is still miles behind.

He is going to be even further behind after the results today are changed.

Yes alonso has done nothing wrong on the track, but his actions after the race are just wrong. Be honest and dont make out you passed a guy fair and square.

I am getting fed up with this fuel thing as well, all teams should have to start with the same fuel.

It was done at the wrong time and wrong way. Team orders can be necessary at season endings, but not in the middle.

Still no reason for heikki to let lewis pass without a fight, he got teamorder there as well heikki there is no doubt about that. So if thats the reason mclaren would be allowed todo that cause they screwed up then ferrari can do it in light of the championship possibility of alonso, its the same.

They also need to start looking at the start, that pushing another driver almost into a wall that must stop also in my opinion. Its dangerous and not needed cause due vettels action he lost 2 places instead of 1.

Heikki had no hope of holding Lewis back due to the tyre situation, so he may as well let him by.

I hope that Felipe can at least take some confidence from the race. He drove fantastically. Sure he looked scratchy at first on the hard tyres, but he fought back well and pulled out some great lap-times straight after. It was a pity there was some traffic which held him up, but that always seems to disadvantage a leading car in a duel more than the others. His start was again fantastic as well.

What ever happens are am sure Ferrari will not except a penalty if its given.

Sounds like they have got away with it.

I just dont get why they are saying alonso was faster and so what if he was it was for the lead of the race its up to alonso to pass. Where does it say in the rules that u have to let the faster driver pass?

I feel so bad for massa having to lie.

From that standpoint I see this race being the best of the season yet. The track lends itself to overtaking ( I am one of few who love the new layout over the old - call me crazy! ) and with the added tyre issues we could see one spectacular race!

Well forecast. That was the worst race since Bahrain. ;)

FIA should take away Ferrari's constructors points for this race, like they did to McLaren in Hungary 2007!!!

Apparently Alonso said this to spanish press:

Alonso talking to the Spanish press after the race: "We work for a team, that's all"... "It was not the slowest driver of the grid who won the race, was it?"

"Probably, for the British fans, seeing two Ferraris winning and ending the race 40 seconds later must hurt. There will be some fuss in the press until the next Thursday. That's all".

Seems like ferrari have got away with it.

Ferrari, alonso and massa all liars with massa being forced to lie.

And as for the alonso comment which team and which drivers are leading the championship. Plus Lewis actually pulled more away in the championship today lol.

Don't look to NASCAR too much. Stock Cars at Indy is like F1 at Hungary. :(

Whats the big deal?!
Dont know why Massa feels dejected when in China 2008, Kimi let him past to help with the championsip.

For the fans?! Well being a Ferrari fan I have no issue. When Kovy let Hamilton past, I like others saw it coming, no real complaints as its part of the championship. Whats the point in holding your team mate up? Yes you could go against and win the race, but youd lose respect from the team.

Us F1 fans who understand the business side of f1 shouldnt see a problem with team orders, only 1 driver can win for the Team at the end of the day.

and yet Ferrari say it's team that counts not drivers...and still they choosed to let alonso win instead of massa even if they said it doesnt matter which one wins, how cool a real "family" this santander team is :)

I would understand this if Massa wouldn't have title chance and Alonso would be the only ferrari driver to have it but it's not the case and Ferrari has said the same they would not prefer other one until only one has a chance.

In 2008 Massa was in contention, Lewis was in contention. But here , neither of them was in contention.

Indeed, if they didn't give teamorders Kimi Raikkonen would never be a world champion thats for sure. They did it in shanghai were massa did an extra pitstop to let kimi pass and in Interlagos they did it in the pitstops.
