Good to see Alonso up there in FP2, hopefully he can carry that form into quali and the race. It'd be good to see him at least pressuring the McLarens, since RedBull look unlikely to.

And hope we can get some nice tyre degradation during the race as well to liven things up.

This is looking like another Lewis benefit to me unless he screws up. Macca should have a clear advantage here, it's exactly their kind of track, and last year he was strong in the car this one has evolved out of.
The thing most likely to get in his way is if his tyres fall off the edge of a cliff early on, hitting his pace hard, and he times his stop badly.

i must say i saw it coming.... press was desperate to sit him in a Ferrari, and now Mercedez, what's next Red Bull?, Mclaren?

even if Michael does very bad until the end of season i can't see him quitting before next year

for the weekend, Red Bull obviously, but i hope Fernando scares them a bit

why would he go to mercedes? they are going backwards. renault are going forward. kubica has more then twice the points of schumacher in a mercedes.

Valencia? Yawn. I just can't get excited about this track. If I could chuck one circuit off the calendar, this would be it.

Silly JB. At least Lewis got a quick lap in initially so good result for him, but JB's left himself with alot of work tomorrow to do. I'd be supprised if he finishes higher than 5th though. We know how bad Valencia is offline so I doubt he'll be overtaking! bad mistake JB.

Williams were the stars though imo! And whilst JB's mistake was costly, the form from Williams is :D worthy!!!!!!

Interesting also to note Hulk quicker than Rubens even though Rubens had the f-duct. And interesting also, they set identical times :p
