ban piquet jr. for what? because you want so???

i'm also not satisfied with the trial result because certainly alonso (racer x) knew something or rather suspect that if he had knowledge... to prove that he knew something is quite different... and is 100%OK! for you now? hahahaha ;)

Being a cheat isn't enough to ban someone?

It wasn't "racer x", it was witness x, and Alonso was at the hearing anyway, while this witness apparently wasn't.

Witness X's testimony was supposedly the one that got Flavio done for.

Well, could be Alonso or maybe Bob Bell...but definitely was someone at a high position if it was present in the meetings.

wow.
just clicked redbutton to see if the races were there and heard the news.

does this mean there will be no ING logo featured on the cars this weekend then??!

On a postive side, a car without logos regardless of colour always looks better ;)!!

decals are being removed as we type.

Suspect local duct-tape retailers will do well out of renault tonight covering up the logos on teamwear.....

Symonds insisting it was NPJ's idea just doesn't sit well with me.

While this would make Piquet Jr appear creative and desperate (and a bit smart too), the fact is that he's [supposed to be] a driver, not an engineer or strategist. I think someone who's had years of experience figuring out race strategies would be more capable to come up with such a plan. Also, if we are to believe NPJ's statement, it's been mentioned that the idea wasn't borne out of thin air: it was mentioned to him in light of his podium finish in Germany, that they could actually exploit that flaw in the SC rule to their other driver's advantage.

He is having a hissy fit because he blames Renault for costing him the title. I think the bump on the head made him forget that with or without Renaults accident, Ferrari screwed up the pit stop and Massa left the box with the fuel hose, which ended up costing him the race.

I agree that he shouldn't be coming out with these statements at this late stage, but i think that there was a much higher chance of a pitstop mistake like that happening in a Safety Car, compared to a normal green flag pitstop, because of the enormous pressure.

And I believe it was the "lollipop man" who made the mistake by putting the green light too soon. I know that their system was an automatic one but they could control the lights, especially in safety car periods to avoid accident lol.

i'm a big Massa fan, but this is plain wrong, i don't think we should take this seriously.
you don't win races by just driving the car around, you and the team need to be prepared for any eventuality, rain, sc, accidents, traffic.

is not like if Piquet crash into Massa... Massa better keep his mouth shut regarding this issue if he doesn't want to look like an @#$%& or a bad looser

go beat them all next year, and then say whatever you want
