Great race! Well done to Alonso and Nico too!

You have to say that Piquet is a great teamplayer, he decided to crash so his teammate could win ;)

Lewis would have been an idiot to risk 6 points for 2 extra.

What a podium.
Probably the 3 best drivers imo.

Well done to Nico and Alonso :D. All I ask for in a race is either good racing, or good results for either JB, Alonso or Nico and I got all but one :D

Kimi wants this season to finish as soon as posible, again he ends the race with he fastest lap... he is in good shape, but results are just not showing.. it wasn't Massa's fault, however some drivers are more aware than others, i remember Ralf usually kept looking at the mirror when he was on pit stops.. but maybe Massa was corncerned because he lost the gap or something

Hamilton would've probably finished 3rd anyway, but for the championship, the result is great

ps: Piquet is a disgrace!

From spectator side; Great race!

Much of actions, overtaking, drama

From fan side; Absolutely this is Championship decision race.

Ferrari are with every race in big trouble (errors or simply lack of pace in some cases or both).
Hamilton have clever and clean race (maybe and a bit of lucky, but that is also part of 'game';). This is his big chance, he need to drive just like this and win when he can and championship is his. Just stupid errors like last year can cost him a title, but a doubt that he will gamble twice...

God...Recently I have noticed that during every race I catch myself thinking : "I wonder in which lap Piquet will crash his car". It has become my habit. It's just like watching a video replay...every second race I hear "Piquet is out" :(. HE SUCKS!!!
It's a pity that such situations cause so much mess on a racetrack. All right, it makes F-1 more interesting but also extremely unfair. Another thing is that it'd be good for FIA to change this stupid rule about closing the pit lane...much better thing would be forcing all the drivers of the grid to refuel to provide as accurate restart as possible.

Anyway, Alonso has had a good race today. I really feel sorry for Massa. The remaining races would have been even more hot with a smaller gap between him and Lewis.

Congratualations to Alonso and also to Ferrari on showing us yet again, how not to win a race, especially when you are in the lead.

Very disappointed with Ferrari as I've mentioned, but just had to add:

The track is best new circuit to be introduced to the classic tracks. Period. Great Challenge for the drivers, overtaking opportunities, and grueling. Long live Singapore.
It's fitting the double world champ gets his name on the first win here!

3 Races to go and anything can happend.
Constructors its neck to neck 135 and 134 and i think
7 points in drivers title with 3 races to go isnt enought yet.
Im sure people are going to question, but hey lets be optimistic.

Cheers :)

He crashed while in 5th with about 4 laps to go.

Race was just WTF. Mad.

Far better racing than I expected. Spectacular and close. Of course the jumbled up order helped things, but still.

Rosberg was excellent, as was Alonso, even if he was a bit lucky. Kimi did really well to get back up to 5th, but then what a rookie mistake.

Bordais was dire. Massa's head went after that pit-lane incident (and a well-deserved drive through (still maintain it was very different to Valencia)).

Was very enjoyable. Not the best result for a close title battle, but it was a fantastic event. :D

Feel sorry for Webber too - he might have been 2nd or 3rd had it not been for yet more bad luck.

Yeap, great race, fantastic track. Alonso did an incredible weekend. I was so gutted for him when the car broke during qualifying. Thankfully the universe conspired to make it right again. He did exatcly what I always thought should be done when you have a fast car and is starting behind. Fuel low, so you can be even quicker and pass the dudes ahead of you. Of course, then it played in his way the fact that he pitted just before the safety car trouble and then made a perfect race towards the end. His restart was just pure brilliance, which is something I haven't seen in a long time. Congrats Alonso for a well deserved win.

Ferrari is a joke. They put their two cars in the top 3, both with incredible pace compared to Hamilton, then throw it all away on that pitstop. And Kimi....WTF!? I can accept shitty pace when the car is not up to it, or the driver is not confortable in the car, but making mistakes like this, with a car that is half a second faster than the rest, is just unnacceptable. I can understand wanting to go all for it when you are not in the running for the championship, but binning it like that with 5 laps to go...

Hamilton showed today the first signs of championship material. He put his head down and went for the result, instead of pushing Rosberg and possibly ending worse. This might have been the turning point here. Wouldn't surprise me if he got the championship in Shanghai.

Anyway, track veridict: More please. Great place, great atmosphere and not so hard to pass as they were making out to be. If they fix some of the stuff for next year, it should be a permanent fixture for sure.

I think that safety car rule is an absolute joke. Alright, it gave us an unusual result but it made a mockery of people who really tried hard in that race. Alonso had bad luck in qualifying and was just in the right place at the right time.

As an Alonso fan I'm nevertheless delighted that he won the race, but just like Piquet's podium in Germany, he didn't earn it as much as Lewis earned his third place, for example.

Oh, forgot to comment on the man of the hour: Nelson Piquet! What the hell is Renault doing with that dude there? They should replace him ASAP.
