How was this exciting? After all the current qualis, it was expected. I just thought Kimi would've gotten pole after his first lap, but again, it wasn't meant to be. Hope tomorrow he can pass Massa off the line. Of course, if it rains, then I have no idea who can win it.

Alonso was mighty impressive though...always setting the times needed at the end of the session for another top 10. Thumbs up for him.

Yeah good quaifying session as usual at Monaco. Big surprise to see Felipe on pole but i'm pretty sure he's got less fuel than Kimi.
Lewis looked gutted but if it rains he may still have a chance.
Also impressed by Fernando's performance in the tricky R28.

Did anyone catch the FP3 this morning ?
From the livetiming, it looked as though during the rain Sutil was pretty quick!
Hope it does rain, will make the race really good I think!

bloody good qualy session, times were toppling at each second! :o

Still great front row lock out and dc was lucky that he went into the escape route, otherwise it would've been carnage

Was a good session I am a bit supprised ferrari are fastest I think they maybe a bit lighter than mclaren its going to be interesting to see what happens in the race. Will they let massa go off and get kimi to hold back a bit? or will they just go for it.

Ferrari are so good off the line I dont expect anyone to pass them.

That means it's certain it won't rain. ;)

Is it wrong to me to pray for rain? :P

But yeah, my experience tells me 90% chance = get out the factor 40, so whatever!

Hamilton was shaking and had that look in his eye similar to Hungary last year (but not as extreme), he was obviously gutted.

yeah Mike Conway who won today btw. I wouldn't advise a career in talent spotting, you don't seem very good at it bruno!

Lol Kizz :)

This looks like it could be the last race for piquet now. He is just showing no speed and just looks all over the place. Will probably be a short race as well as I bet he dont get round the 1st corner renault would be best starting him in the pits.

He'll be out by lap 15 ;)

(Come on, everybody join in on the "When is Piquet going to crash" sweepstakes!)

PS. Immensely close top 3 today! If they can keep it up tomorrow and have a three car train for the lead then I think we'll be in for a tense and exciting race :)

think it's interesting that massa has lead more laps than anyone else so far,,, he's certainly come a long way since the first coupla races, and i think is shading even Kimi at the mo. I'm thinking we were all under estimating him,,,

(though now i've said this he'll probs stuff it into the wall at ste devote, hopefully then reversing onto the track and knocking out Piquet. only then will the other drivers be safe....)

Was going to write that top bit when i read this.

I vote St Devote, he'll crash into a barrier by himself and say that the car didnt handle well or someone breaked too hard ;)

My tip is that when the pitlane opens, he will turn the wrong way out of the garage and get DQ for going the wrong way down the pitlane!

Haha, realistically, Piquet and Vettel have no hope of making it through turn 1!
