I would prefer your source Sapo over vesuvius...especially considering the lengths at which the Spanish media are prepared to go to in order to discredit Hamilton, although I'm not prepared to believe anything yet until it is official.

It's nothing against you personally vesuvius dont worry :) never meant any sort of insult. It's just that the Spanish media are known to have a bias on things and I wouldn't be inclined to trust what they say unless it has "OFFICIAL" stamped on it. Same goes for the British media too of course.

Update from ITV F1 website...

Article 6.5.5 of the Formula 1 technical regulations stipulates that “no fuel on board the car may be more than 10 degrees centigrade below ambient temperature”.

FIA technical delegate Jo Bauer confirmed in a statement that the Williams and BMW fuel temperatures had deviated by more than that amount in the course of the race.

The stewards are currently deliberating on the appropriate punishment for this irregularity.

Given the huge ramifications of disqualifying the drivers, it is thought likely that a different penalty will be applied, perhaps citing the precedent of the 1995 Brazilian GP, when constructors’ but not drivers’ points were deducted

So then, rules have been broken, cars are illegal, punishment is being decided. Please be just constructors points, for the dignity of the sport!

no matter who wins this year it has to go down has one of the worst!!!

i went out straight after kimi crossed the line, had a good night with a few friends, came back, and saw this sh*t!!

anyway, forget lewis, kimi, mass and alonso.. driver of the year? Nico Rosberg, by far!

After JB, Nico is no doubt my favourite driver, he has shown such progression this year... i have got alot of respect for him, more so than kimi, alonso, lewis or massa.

A horrible way to end the season, but given the 95 precedent and the McLaren being found illegal earlier this year, but drivers kept their points can the stewards really remove the driver points and expect people to still take the sport seriously.

What a joke BBC news 24 is. The guy in Sao Paulo is talking about BMW Sabre and the anchor is saying that they can't even punish the team because Ferrari have already won the constructors championship. Useless

Kimi Raikkonen's world championship title for Ferrari has been confirmed as there will be no penalty for BMW Sauber and Williams for fuel irregularities.

Bloody typical.

I maintain that the retard foundation running the sport should be shot at dawn and replaced by people who give a damn about the sport and not lining their pockets.

And this is why they should not announce their investigations unless there is a penalty involved once the investigation is over.

Bloody hell.. its finally over.. or so we think anyway.
FIA need to completely revamp F1's rules and create a list of appropriate punishments for when they are broken.

Only 146 days till the circus starts again.......

I agree Zep, an investigation should only be announced if something is going to come of it. However the sport needs to be transparent otherwise accusations will fly...it's one of them fine balancing acts, lol. Also agree with you too Advong, I'll wait for a few more sites to confirm before I head off to sleep.
