uhhh what kinda message do you think that sends to the team and especially your mechanics/engineers who have been toiling hard to give you a good race-car?

Should be a good one. I can see Raikkonen getting past a few but I think he'd need a bit of luck to get better than 8-7th. It would be nice for Hamilton to get a win but I'd be happy with a McLaren 1-2 and hopefully Button can snatch a point.

Unfortunately people have this idea that Kimi just walked from the circuit after his shunt, i don't believe he did.

No one knows where Kimi actually went anyway. All we do know is he went over a bridge... who only knows what was on the other side! Could be a selection of 8-10 year old karting drivers he's grooming and was giving a motivational talk to... or perhaps not.

Does it really surprise people that Kimi didn't stop around in the garage for long? What would he have learned from sitting around watching Massa and looking at telemetry he'd already viewed hundreds of times? Might as well head back to the motorhome, get his head back into gear, and get ready for the briefing. It's not like the good old days when they had a Sunday warm-up to consider either - there's much more time for discussing things up until an hour before the race.

Kimi's not the aspiring all-conquering super-driver. He's a great natural talent who just wants to drive. I love that personally. :)

Plus some people are forgetting (or ignoring)that he was faster in every session at Monaco than Massa before his shunt.

So what, when it counted Massa delivered. JB was quicker than RB through some FP too, but RB is 1/2second up the road in quali...

That's not the point i was making Chet. Lots of people have been saying that Massa is the faster of the two but around Monaco, Kimi has been the fastest. However his mistake, the first one i've noticed so far at a GP weekend this year, was poorly timed.
Jenson was faster than Rubens in only one pracitce session btw.

Even still... Massa has been pretty flawless in Monaco, people expected him to be making mistakes all over...

I still believe Kimi is the quickest driver in F1, but he isnt doing himself any good.

Btw, any reports on weather ? Ive read a few but they vary from website to website :s :(

Yeah, I'm curious... well, desperate to know what's going on!

I've tried some webcams but they were inconclusive....

Guess we'll just have to wait for coverage to start :(

Inconclsive as in dirty black clouds, but too low resolution to make out any rain... track looked black but again, hard to make out whether it was dry, damp or standing water..

What a crap, mclaren drivers have made a deal about the first corner at the start !!! ewwwwwwwwwwwwwwww

It didn't rain yet in monaco and they predict only 40 % chances for rain, less chance in the afternoon so it will be probabely dry all race long, sad cause with dry and deals it will be boring!
