yes in the season review both dc jb and brundle all said the same thing he was past before the corner and on the racing line plus there is not run off.

kimi went round the long way and fissi moved and there is not run off and it was the last lap

montoya on schumacher, nurburgring was awesome. put shumi to shame with that, and ross brawn was jealous. also monty on barichello in 2001 suzuka. itv sidnt show it, but rubens passed him into final chicane, then montoya took it bak in an awesome move turn 1. rubens did an even beta move on ralf same race at turn 1, around the outside! monty on shum brazil 2001 and usa 2001 were really gud, mika hakkinen wuld never do that, he always used to just follow for lap after lap, cept for that spa move ofcourse. monty on shu monza 2003 wuld have been awesome, just didnt quite get through but. heidfeld on renault 2004 monaco. montoya on raikonnen at brazil 2004!

mika always passed cars look at france and austria 1999 for example to the back of the field and through.

DC on trulli silverstone 2003 was a great move and the one he done on ms a few years before that think 1998.

And the great racing between jpm and kimi in germany and hungry 2003.

Alot of jpm moved involve locked breaks and the car infront not wanting to crash

yes Mika passed loads of cars when he was out of position, so passed a lot of slower opposition, but I think Adam Gilchrist meant he wouldn't necessarily try a pass for the lead or for a high position.

but i don't that's totally true, because most modern races have seen the passing done through the pitstops, and not on-track, so it's not just a criticism of Mika, but of all drivers.

how can u pass though if u aint close ?

mika done a good move on eddie in 1998 which upset ferrari and then drove flat out and done an ms and won during the pit stops.

i can not remember mika following another car for the lead he only ever had 3 years of winning races and he either won or broke down or hit by dc lol.

its sad really that he only had winning cars in 1998,1999 and 2000. and maybe some races in 1997 and 2001.

Hill on Schumacher Adelaide 1994
Hill on Schumacher Silverstone 1995
Hill on Schumacher Monza 1995

:)

Seriously, Schumacher on Hill Estoril 1995 stands out in my mind. Overtook him on the tightest corner where he wasen't expecting it

in the MS on Button at Imola, MS was helped by the minardi that blocked Button a little bit out of Acque Minerali. or maybe Button got a bit distracted by the minardi and hesitated, allowing MS to get a good run into Variante Alta.

Almost everybody got help from someone/something and that's why on reflection Mansell passing Piquet in Silverstone was the best one of the lot.

Nah, his pass on Berger in Mexico 1990 was the best, takes big balls to make that kind of move and get away with it.

silversone was a great pass but his drive to catch him was something else but he had the turbo up full and new tyres.

mexico 1990 worn tyres

I seem to remember that the pass in Mexico required a lot of cooperation from Berger.

He lifted off a bit so that they both didn't crash but Mansell had to go on the outside of the dangerous peraltada turn flat out, that was unbelievable.

the losing driver is always suffering from something thats why he is overtaken.

not always, sometime he just messes up a corner so isn't as fast out of it as the one behind him, so gets overtaken.

@ Snake, the Mika on MS pass was at the end of the Kemmel straight, into Les Combes.
