I've never used the profiles thing in csm, but I think you have to right click the carset you want to use the profile on in the load and restore mods list and click enable custom profile.
Hope that helps

Grand Prix 4 To edit driver names you need a performance file, which you then select in gpxpatch.
I'm not sure what gp4edit does, but you should use teameditor to edit the driver names and performance and then save the performance file and select it in gpxpatch.
Hope that helps

Grand Prix 4 I remember seeing a mclaren lod 35 - I think that comes from a downloaded car though rather than the original game - anyway, I'm pretty certain the game wouldn't read the file so you can delete it.
Other than increasing AA and AF settings for your graphics card and making sure you're using the most hi res tex files, I don't think there's a lot you can do about the qual

Off-Topic As far as I'm aware, you need to set the config files up for track-specific cars, helmets etc. - you can't just put the folders in without changing the config files.
I'm not quite sure how they work, but there's plenty of help available on the csm forum at grandprixx.com.

Grand Prix 4 Btw you don't need the anim.ini file in the settings folder in the new csm (so long as version is set to 1.26 in the .csm file) -
you just name the textures anything in the data\anim folder and put that in the config.ini file there, and it works

There's no 2009 trackpack released yet, but you can take the 2008 trackpack and download any other tracks you may need.

Grand Prix 4 Other than the 2009 empty mod by b-tone, there are no un-leeched complete mods for 2009. However, it's fairly easy to just download the cars, track etc. from 2009 and put them in the empty mod
- note the vazalm mod has no permissions so is leeched, and may be blacklisted by csm because of that.

They are the track maps you see in the GP4 track selection screen - most trackmakers don't include them, but you can find some in the 2006 trackpack.

Grand Prix 4 GP4 is fine on dual or quad core, but you also need to upgrade your graphics card if you want much better performance, as I'm not convinced how much improvement you'll get with a new processor - the performance may still be limited by your graphics card.

Grand Prix 4 Normally in a CSM mod you can just put any performance file in the data\patch folder of your mod and it will be used.
However, with Tony's 2009 empty mod, it's a bit different - there are track-specific perf files instead in data\performance.
The easiest way to change them is to take the perf file you want, and make 18 copies with the different names of the 18 2009 perf files, and ju

I think advertising sites in your sig is fine, but not just posting referal advertisements in threads -
There's a referal link in his post in the other pitstopboss thread too if you want to remove it

Off-Topic Suggestion: At the moment, when stickies are unread they have the same image next to them as ordinary threads, which is quite confusing when I haven't read through threads a lot as I can't tell what's stickied and what isn't. Could the image for unread stickied be changed (it's different for read stickies, they're fine)?

Off-Topic Great - I like the new forum
Was hoping for last post before and first post after the update though
Edit: How come the title bar at the top is all messed up - the text is off the top of the screen, and the left side of the picture is empty? - On firefox
Edit 2: Any why does it still say temporarily disabled when I come here on Internet Explorer?
Edit 3: It does work, but only if I

Off-Topic How come when I just logged out by accident, it said:
"SITE UPDATE in progress! This forum has been set to "read only""

Is this real - if so great, but how come I can still post, and why doesn't it appear when I log in?

Off-Topic That has to be the shortest high-verbosity error log ever!
Unfortunately, I'm not sure what is the problem, and I think the ntdll.dll error is more of a generic error, and that file is probably not the problem.
Other than checking for viruses/spyware I can't think of anything else to suggest
Btw, correct me if I'm wrong but I think the mod is leeched - if so, don't expect
