The only thing is I would like it before Christmas, I know it's a bit much to ask! I'm trying to introduce my daughter to this game! Please help! With kind thanks SPOKESby SPOKES - Grand Prix 4
Use Zaz tools Slimtex, place the files into the tga to tex, highlight them and tap the convert button. Thats it, quite easy I found.by SPOKES - Grand Prix 4
Try this one, I used it earlier this year!by SPOKES - Grand Prix 4
No problems, if you fine that the quality is naf n00binio is right change the texture to hi in the options screen and rename the cars.wad back to hi_by SPOKES - Grand Prix 4
Your right on resolution but you have set the cars.wad wrong, drop the hi_ at the start of the textures eg. hi_mp4-23 replace with mp4-23 Does this help?by SPOKES - Grand Prix 4
I've tried to help pont out with this but having trouble sending the wad back to him, could someone else download the Buenos Aires 1.2 from gp4 Argentina and replace the barcelona2001.wad to work in the melborne2001 slot, please.by SPOKES - Grand Prix 4
With in the wad there are many files, open the wad using easywad (Zaz Tools) extract all files that don't end in .tex, if the track was original named imola2001 then all files that DON'T end in .tex lets say imola2001.gp4 then change it to melborne2001.gp4. What I did was I created a folder named Track Extractor and I extracted all files that didn't end in .tex and placed them intoby SPOKES - Grand Prix 4

Sorry tweek was the wrong word to use. In another words would you be making a 1979 or 1980's mod?by SPOKES - Grand Prix 4
Thanks for that Plodekk. By any chance are you about to tweek around with 79/80's mod with this track?by SPOKES - Grand Prix 4
I must ask if anyone has done the original interlagos 7.873km circuit from 1979/1980 race?by SPOKES - Grand Prix 4
Thats why I was careful in spelling it in my thread!!!!by SPOKES - Grand Prix 4
When would we be able to download these great car mods?by SPOKES - Grand Prix 4
I haven't tried any of them yet, but I loved Surfers Paradise when I played this on PS2 Toca Driver! Long straights & technical corners, street circuit like Monaco (tight).by SPOKES - Grand Prix 4
Sante Fe By Maxi (GP4 Argentina) Rio Gallegos By ? (GP4 Argentina) Phillip Island By Maxi (GP4 Argentina) Surfers Paradise By jimbob1, btone & ruboy (GP4 Argentina) But you can put any track in as long as you change any of the NON .tex files into Melbourne, for example in the monaco2001.wad: monaco2001_track.bin change this to melborne2001_track.bin. Hope this helps?by SPOKES - Grand Prix 4
I did a lot of searching for some Helmets, I'm now looking for the following:- Mario Andretti 1968-1982 Alberto Ascari 1950-1955 Jack Brabham 1955-1970 I know it's alot to ask, seeing these drivers may not have had a signature helmet. If you could help I'll be very greatful.by SPOKES - Grand Prix 4
Why don't you use Easywad from ZAZ tools?by SPOKES - Grand Prix 4
Open up GP4, then go into MAPS, then RESOURCES and find Loading. Back up this file before placing new ones in, now replace with the new ones you want to use.by SPOKES - Grand Prix 4
Oh well, I'm still in the dark ages, I must now get with the times and move to the 21st century. Well done guys it does look good. Sorry for my moan!!by SPOKES - Grand Prix 4
I've soo been looking forward to this trackpack release for my legends season, but I don't use TSM, please could we have a non CSM/TSM version, please, please!by SPOKES - Grand Prix 4
Yes you can. If you open the following: GP4, MenuData, PC, GP2001_x.gps the 'x' depends on your language. When you open this you'll be able to see the drivers names and teams, this is where you change the names but sadly as you can see from my question earlier the points (if any) from the driver, your replacing, will still the same! Hope this helps & welcome back to this coby SPOKES - Grand Prix 4
Does anyone have a non csm files of the Williams pitcrew from 1993, like the 2010 ones that Renault#1fan did earlier this year. I'm after the 4 files Enigine/Pitcrew/PLUSmuppet & PLUS stand? Please could anyone help? GP4DB is only CSM, sadly I wasn't after this one!by SPOKES - Grand Prix 4
renaming the .dat file won't cause a problem then will it not? I have a book of what files to use, renaming from/to, which liveries to use and from who. So I'm sure I won't muck it up but...never say never. Cheers anyway SchueyFanby SPOKES - Grand Prix 4
Thanks for the quick reply, Ed. I didn't think it was easy as just renaming, somewhere there had to be a software programme needed. Oh well, I shall play with this before I start my Fantasy Season.by SPOKES - Grand Prix 4
I know this has been covered already of late but...do I need any gp4 track builder or software to rename all files (except .tex) and I take it the .dat files can chance to represent the new choosen track? may thanks in advance for your assistance.by SPOKES - Grand Prix 4
