Nope, "stolen" also, from the same thread as the first picture (a screenshot thread on a Netherlandic GP4 forum).by Xipe - Grand Prix 4
I will. Here's a shot that IS NOT MINE... but it's one of the best I have ever seen for GP4. A regular poster boy - *almost* looks like a real photo:by Xipe - Grand Prix 4
GF3 only unfortunatly. Waiting for the NV30!!by Xipe - Grand Prix 4
Could people please try to post pictures instead of crap? I was going to go through the pictures, but I got bored by all the crap text messages that was flooded everywhere. And please learn how to reply (post when you're ON the post you want to reply to), it **ain't** @#$%& brain surgery.by Xipe - Grand Prix 4
I understood that you used GPxPatch and I was wondering what kind of super drivers the rest of the odd people are! In Arrows, w. team dependent power, I do 1:25 laps at Monza - at Ace level Schumi does 1:22 times and the midfield pack is at low and mid 1:24.by Xipe - Grand Prix 4

Rather meaningless feature for a racing game, but quite neat at the same time. The PO actually wasn't affected much either (P4 2Ghz, 512Mb RAM, GeForce 3 500 Ti) and stayed below 100%.by Xipe - Grand Prix 4
From a post at Simbin, for those of you suffering high PO: I have a 1Ghz Athlon, 256mb RAM, GeForce2 Ti 64mb, and Sb Live. I`m not sure how the split axis works for me but I`ll explain what I did - you can`t just choose `wheel` from the options menu, you have to choose `advanced` and make a custom user setting which you then save as a filename. I have no idea of what the F1 2002 people are saying when they claim that F12k2 looks good compared to GP4.... GP4 is stunning! Have to find my GP3 CD now so that I too can experience the joy of progression.by Xipe - Grand Prix 4
I agree that getting the box is worth $5-$15, but I would be hard pressed to call a nine year old game for "warez". Actually I don't feel at all bad about downloading it after it has been out of the stores for the past eight years. What is Home of the Underdogs? Anybody in possession of real BHP values for the 2002 season? I want my performance file to be as close to reality as possible.by Xipe - Grand Prix 4
Sauber have 7 gears aswell. The other three can't be bothered to state how many gears they have (well, at least not on their homepages where all they state is that they have "multi-speed, semi-automatic" gearboxes). I'd guess 7 for Williams and McLaren and 6 for Arrows... Anybody know?by Xipe - Grand Prix 4
These are confirmed: Ferrari - 7 gears BAR - 7 gears Jordan - 7 gears Jaguar - 7 gears Toyota - 6 gears Renault - 6 gears Minardi - 6 gears Williams, McLaren, Sauber and Arrows still unconfirmed...by Xipe - Grand Prix 4
My problem isn't with the car I drive; if not all teams use seven gears in the real world then I don't want the AI drivers of those teams to use seven gears in the game either (it bugs me ). I've been trying to search the web for info on this, but to no avail... The only team I'm 100% certain of is Ferrari... as to the others I just don't know.by Xipe - Grand Prix 4
GP4 Perf screwed up the teams' number of gears, so now all AI teams use seven gears... which is not to my liking. Which teams use seven gears?by Xipe - Grand Prix 4
Addenum: I do however agree that GP4 should have camber, tire temperatures, toe in/out and better torque modelling. It would have been nice. But even with that lacking I find GP4 to be more to my liking than F1 2002 is.by Xipe - Grand Prix 4
"We all look for different things to entertain us and the truth is, whatever works for each individual is just fine." Agreed, it just bothers me when people come over to GP4 forums (or whatever it may be about) and whine about what's lacking and how much they're not liking/playing/using it. I don't like F1 200x one bit, but nor do I bother the people who like those gamesby Xipe - Grand Prix 4
The helmet view brings your focus into to the track in a very nice and natural way, much like IRL when you're having a helmet on or when you're full on adrenaline (something that, until now, was hard to simulate sitting in front of your PC). Two thumbs up.by Xipe - Grand Prix 4
I hear you. I too wish that they would have added some more features to the setup, some torque modelling would have been nice aswell. But truth to be told I don't like how F1 2002 handles one bit, like driving on ice, and despite the letdown from Crammond by not taking the game a couple of notches further I am enjoying GP4 immensely. If fun is what you want I think GP4 will suit you (especiaby Xipe - Grand Prix 4
To all GP4 bashers, I read such a great reply at Simbin I just have to share with you; "I am sorry guys but if you think any "Racing Games" are anything like driving a true/real car then you are very much mistaken. Whether you feel a games is a "sim" or a "game" is neither here nor there, it just doesn't matter, as long as you enjoy it. Driving F12001/2 oby Xipe - Grand Prix 4
Working my way down to the first right-hander at Sepang I notice alot of smoke from the gravel trap; after consulting the replay it seems like Kimi and DC couldn't agree on who had the right of way - so Kimi drove right into DC's path and took them both out of contention. The one spinning uncontrollably is DC... Kimi actually was able to take his battered, and noseless, McLaren intby Xipe - Grand Prix 4

Speaking of tracks.... does GP4 has a limit to the length of a track, like GP3 had? My favorite IRL track is Nürnburgring Nordschleife, it would be *so* cool if it was possible to model its full length.by Xipe - Grand Prix 4
7 gears = Yes Camber, temp, toe = No But the options that are available are plenty; camber, toe in/out only complicates the physics simulation (I wonder if any game have gotten the simulation of those *and* all other options right yet). Personally I couldn't care less if it's 100% correct physics, or if all the settings that are available to real cars are available or not - all I wantby Xipe - Grand Prix 4
