Hi Samuele, What a blast from the past! This brings me back to the good old days at GP4Italia. Cheers, Lucaby roar - Grand Prix 4
Thanks Samuele for all the great efforts you put with this game, I remember when firstly I got in touch with GP4 modding and GP4Italia, your guide and your advices on the forum were precious for those who wanted to build a proper MOD. See you somewhere sometime on the Net.by roar - Grand Prix 4
That's the problem: we don't know and based on what ZaZ said, those values reported in the figure could be useless, because they could be related to the GP3, which is possibly a totally different world compared to GP4. The only way to discover what they are for is to hit the wall in the same way using different values for these variables, so you load GP4, go out on track and plan to skby roar - Grand Prix 4
As far as I know I haven't got any idea about how this numbers works and if they are related in any way to the physics file (in which you can configure even the mass of the car, if I remember well). In my opinion they are related in some way, but to be really sure about it you should ask to someone who coded the game: ZaZ in the old days said he discovered these numbers, but it's impossby roar - Grand Prix 4
Hello everybody, first of all it's great to pop in after a long time (I guess four years!) and see that the community is still strong, with some familiar "faces" and a lot of great work. I'm really impressed to see that after more than ten years since its release, GP4 still rocks and there are some massive update such as the GpXPatch 4.something which sounds incredible!by roar - Grand Prix 4
Well I can translate the install guide I made on gp4italia, if needed for this wiki. See ya ROARby roar - Grand Prix 4
For sure you'll need an Apache server to run php (or something equivalent for asp) and mysql (or other database). See ya. ROARby roar - Grand Prix 4
Use the search function... or maybe there should be something in my sig! Bye ROARby roar - Grand Prix 4
Simply the best! Bye ROARby roar - Grand Prix 4
Buon Natale e Felice Anno Nuovo. Yeah it's interesting to see how you say it in your own language! Bye ROARby roar - Grand Prix 4
Merry Xmas to you Madotter!by roar - Grand Prix 4
Thanks Laurent and merry Xmas and Happy New Year! Bye ROARby roar - Grand Prix 4
It sounds interesting. I would like to be part of this contest, even if I'm not the best painter. Just to know, will you release the cars (obviously if competitors agree about this)? In this way we could build a fictional 2010 MOD. Bye ROARby roar - Grand Prix 4
Maybe you need carbon_fongu.tex and brakeglow_fongu.tex, you can get them with the Toyota TF108 release at gp4db.com. Bye ROARby roar - Grand Prix 4

I hope you'll like it. Bye ROAR --- Grand Prix 4 - MOD 1991 - Imola 1991 (included in MOD 1991 Trackpack)by roar - Other Games
Thanks guys, I really needed the BMW and this will fit the best for my MOD. Downloading now, thanks a lot! Bye ROARby roar - Grand Prix 4
Fantastic job guys! I loved that first chicane in Monza (and Lesmo in the old design as well)! Bye ROARby roar - Grand Prix 4
They are re-uploading (at gp4italia) all the files from the old website and this could take a few days. Currently it seems there are 2 Gb dls available instead of original 8Gb - it's just a matter of time. Bye ROARby roar - Grand Prix 4
elio Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > thanks ROAR for the extra detail. i ought to say > i am doing all this in gp3, not sure this makes a > differance ... Ah, this could be the problem, but I'm not sure about this. Bye ROARby roar - Grand Prix 4
That's really strange. It seems you've got a problem with GP4 instead of RAD Tools, otherwise music wouldn't play opening the video itself. Or it could be something with Windows mixer. Anyway here there are my Bink settings: Bye ROARby roar - Grand Prix 4
Well, I did a couple of videos and I didn't experience any problem at all. I arranged videos using Windows Movie Maker, exported them as .wmv files and then I converted them with Bink of RAD Tools. Probably, but this is only a guess, you could have problems with codecs or just play around with "compress audio" switch in the main screen of Bink. Bye ROARby roar - Grand Prix 4
Thanks a lot for everything: without your efforts a lot of things wouldn't work as they do. Bye ROARby roar - Grand Prix 4
Ok, let's see to clarify things for positioning issues, then you ask other things, I'll try to solve them. Well, initially you have to download Tweaker 1.0.4.5 Reloaded. Then open your MOD folder, go to Patch folder and put EnableTweaker.cap (you can find it in other MODs, or in ZaZ Tools dir under Extras I guess...). Go back to your MOD main dir and create a new folder: call it Tweaby roar - Grand Prix 4
I didn't noticed it... Well thank you very much dude! Bye ROARby roar - Grand Prix 4
Hi all, as I am working on my 2008 MOD I need this template (once I downloaded it, but I had issues with HD and I don't know where is now): I looked for it on google, GPG faqs and using search function but I keep on getting the same RS link which is expired. Thanks in advance. Bye ROARby roar - Grand Prix 4
Hello guys and thanks for your answers. Anyway I solved putting a double blank space instead of text in language.uni file. Then I used the Patch.ini file from Settings folder of 1991 MOD to obtain white fonts for pits menu. Thank you all. Bye ROARby roar - Grand Prix 4
Hello, I've got a problem compiling my own 2008 MOD: I want to erase all the information displayed on the screen of steering wheels. On original GP4 it is ok, but with MES cars we haven't got screens anymore, so I need to avoid all the written things (like position, lap, mechanical failures...) but the pit menu. I found *.pos and *.uni files are the ones to edit, but I don't know hby roar - Grand Prix 4
Hello everybody, I downloaded this MOD and it's really good. However I want to improve it for my own, so I was wondering if I can get somewhere the shape for non-oval tracks (the one with complete front wing just to be clear). Thanks in advance. Bye ROARby roar - Grand Prix 4
