Villeneuve ruled out of the Lotus seat. Trulli is the top man out of a shortlist of 4 drivers.by Fincent - F1
Im actually a big fan of the new layout I think its just a bit of a change from what we are all used to. The first layout posted is not as good as the one I found (courtesy of F1Fanatic) because it looks too Tilke and reminds me too much of the opening sector of the Nurburgring. Surely the simpler layout would make more sense as it makes use of the other track layouts that are already there (strby Fincent - F1
Ive also seen this layout floating around the net too... Either way, would certainly make Becketts the best seat in the house! It was already a fantastic place to watch but now you'll be able to see the new complex on the other side too, especially from up high in the grandstand. Im going to be taking the girlfriend with me this year, so what would you recommend? Pit straight or Beckeby Fincent - F1

Mercedes #2 - Schumacher Renault #2 - Grosean (only if Renault stay in F1, because of the Frenchness, if not then Baguette ftw!) STR #2 - Alguesuari (needs time to impress, if not then Ricciardo will be in by Hungary) Lotus #1 - Villeneuve (awesome comeback!) Lotus #2 - Petrov (who would turn down all that sponsorship money?) Campos #2 - Soucek (would make sense being Spanish) USF1 #1 - Lopby Fincent - F1
Have a read of this. Quite interesting stuff concerning a possible Renault buyout. All speculation, however, but still an interesting read. Back in Abu Dhabi I had a rather interesting chat with a colleague regarding BMW-Sauber and the Qadbak deal which, as we now know, was ultimately doomed to failure. Nobody ever really gave the Qadbak buyout a chance of working out, the involvement ofby Fincent - F1
I really hope Sauber can get back on the grid for next season! I wouldnt say that I was a fan of theirs but I always liked seeing them getting in amongst the points and doing well, it was always well deserved points! Also, who wouldnt want a livery like this back?by Fincent - F1
Lets not forget that Jenson has the ability to drive the car quite well on a heavy fuel load. Barichello in comparison struggled on the same fuel loads as Button this year. Going into a year when the cars will be starting with a lot more fuel than in previous years, surely this will play to Button's advantage? Lewis is also quite a ragged (but fast) driver. If anyone is likely to have higby Fincent - F1
Also, with Toyota's demise, isnt the Panasonic sponsorship now up for grabs too? That could provide a nice boost to one of the new teams.by Fincent - F1
Although there isnt actually a Beatles statue on the route, I will see what I can do . Added a few more buildings today, including one that a few of you may hopefully recognise. Heres an ingame shot for a change instead of a screen capture out of BTB And heres a google earth image for comparison:by Fincent - Other Games
Im pleased to announce that Ive been able to contact a few of the guys responsible for the models you can find on google earth. Im currently in the process of sorting them for bobs track builder and rfactor so work is ongoing, but i thought i would post a few shots of the work that is going on textures will probably be re done in the future.by Fincent - Other Games
Just got back from seeing them at the Liverpool Echo Arena. Ive seen them once before and it was awesome so I had pretty high expectations heading into tonight, but what I experienced just blew my mind completely and Im sort of sat here in a daze, trying to make sense of it all. The three blocks were concealed, and they opened with a sort of modified version of the exogenesis symphony, then the bby Fincent - Off-Topic

Either have a single control tyre, or have more than 3. The problem with having only two tyre manufacturers is that the field gets split in half. Either youre tyre A or tyre B, each having their own specific characteristics. It was annoying and I hated it when it would either be a Michelin circuit or a Bridgestone circuit. With a multitude of tyre suppliers (eg. Michelin, Pirelli, Dunlop, Goodyeaby Fincent - F1
Massive BATracer fan here, started up a few months back. Absolutely gutted to see what has happened I personally think Luca is in a mood after having a poor showing in Abu Dhabi (new homeland for them) and taking his anger out on anything he can findby Fincent - Other Games
@ Gui, I hadnt thought about the whole flight sim thing. My dad is actually quite heavily into that kind of thing so I think I may be asking him about it next time I see him lol! @ fongu, if you ever find you have the time then I would be willing to have your help in an instant! I always look at the BBC website since they are the broadcasters, lol, but the times theyve posted are just ridiculous! Theyre not even remotely right lol.by Fincent - F1
Please tell me Im not the only one to get up at 6, to find that Practice 1 wasnt on till 9? Damn BBC website Typo! Theyve got the practice times completely wrong! First practice: 0600-0730, BBC Red Button/online & BBC Radio 5 Live sports extra/online Second practice: 1000-1130, BBC Red Button/online & BBC Radio 5 Live sports extra/online Repeated on the Red Button service from 1130by Fincent - F1
First things first, Ive decided on a name! "Liverpool Waterfront Circuit". Still a lot of work to be done, but this vid is to show the work done on the road surface mostly. All road markings and elevations are 99% accurate to real life (I should know, Ive walked the route a few times!). Also brand new textures added for road and wall surfaces. Work still to be done? Lots. Buildings,by Fincent - Other Games
Quick update! Ive been doing some more work over the weekend, mostly on tweaking road markings. Also, new wall and fence textures (including armco and orange barrier safety endings). A few sponsors are roughly placed but will need refinement for sure. I know that in my Thermalito track, the textures were one of the things I could have done better so that one of the areas I aim to focus onby Fincent - Other Games

lol indeed. I find it quite amusing that the guy who insisted on the late starting race, and ignored all the warnings about the weather, should be running to his car to escape that very same rain.by Fincent - F1
Also, Ive FINALLY gotten around to making some new wall and fence textures. No more BTB "same textures as every other WIP track" anymoreby Fincent - Other Games
Been doing a bit of steady work over the last few days and the majority of the road markings are now done! Just a few text decals need creating like "THRU", "AHEAD ONLY", "NORTH" and all that. Here's a few snooksby Fincent - Other Games
If this means that Mosely still has a significant input on the govering of Formula One then this is a very sad day indeed. Not just for the sport but for the overall image that the FIA is giving out. Reminds me of the whole Medvedev/Putin thing regarding Russia. Yes, Medvedev is the front man, but we all know that Putin is still pulling all the strings.by Fincent - F1

24 35 30.47N 19 08 25.36E Jonkers That one looked pretty wierd to me. There's a very defined rectangular area just to the west, outside the anomaly. I cant really describe it so have a look for yourself but it looks as if there's something lined up in rows within a defined area, almost like a carpark. It's probably just image compression artefacts though. Wouldn't surprby Fincent - Off-Topic
No idea Smorr, lol, no idea. There's only a limited amount of words I suppose and eventually, genres will get confused. Here's something else I'm liking at the moment. The entire album this guy did was sampled and taken from other sources.
