Tragic loss - RIP Henry Surtees and I can only imagine how difficult it must be for John and Jane.
Racer - I dont remember any binding legislation being put into place post-Lowe's outside of the US, but I do remember the FIA putting a lot of research into it after Monza 2000 and Melbourne 2001. Worryingly we seem to be seeing more and more tyres coming off at the moment though - althoug

Grand Prix 3 Erick's right - it was similar to Roberto's GPx Manager, the main difference being it was easier to import non GPx results. Was around about 5/6 years ago?

Grand Prix 3 Does anyone have a copy of this they could email to me - I had a load of saved championships on it that I'd like to access but I don't have the installer anymore....

Off-Topic Obviously Loque has to go to Oregon, and seek out a Mini and a Nova spliced together, whereupon the driver of said hybrid car will either give him the next clue, or grant him access to infinite free software. Or something

Off-Topic I'm expecting a heavy use of KERS into turn 15, and maybe through 3 into 4. Should be interesting to see if Brawn can extend their gap - IIRC Honda always did well at Malaysia compared to the rest of the year.

F1 If anyone here remembers them - particularly the cup games against Arsenal and Chelsea, and Jimmy Glass' last minute goal to send them out of the league in 1999 - well they're on their way back:

Off-Topic That's probably why Gerry held back - when NH leave Forsythe will be the biggest team, and would have a chance at another few titles. He doesn't seem to realise that CCWS won't be around in '09 at this rate...

Off-Topic Yeah, it's the England and Wales Cricket Board and team - heance the likes of Simon & Geraint Jones and Robert Croft playing for England. There has been an unnoficial Wales side a couple of times in recent years though - and with Ireland and Scotland's recent succeses talks have been held with a view to a seperate Welsh board being created and a Welsh team entering ICC competition

Off-Topic We only compete seperately in sports we invented - So we needed seperate teams to play against. Who would a GB side have played at Cricket, Rugby or Football originally?

Other Sports I'd heard that the new aero updates were working some of the mechanics harder due to some transfer of aerodynamic grip to mechanical grip or something, but I might be mistaken. And did I read somewhere that Eddie Cheever's now building Fabcar's new chassis?

Other Motorsports But IIRC, the new Riley chassis is far less reliable than the old one, which is why Chip stayed with the old one. Plus Chip has far more money than Gainsco. And the Porsche may be faster, but the driver line-up was no-where near that of Ganassi's car.
But yeah, the line-up has been mightily impressive for the last few years now, and while the Grand-Am cars may not be as technologically ad

Off-Topic Don't know anything about Rojas, but Franchitti & Montoya are class acts, and Pruett's been one of the fastest guys in sportscars Stateside for a while now - and with Ganassi running the show, I agree chet. They really couldn't lose

Other Motorsports Thank god we beat the stags - they played well and if they'd had a bit more quality in the final 3rd could of got a goal or two. Liking the fact there's only 6 or 7 top flight teams left in though

Other Sports Let's hope this happens - CCWS is going to die and take the teams with it unless they agree. However, Bachelart may be right that '08 is too early, although '09 may be too late unfortunately
