Great news! Where can I find Hector's other work?by Speed_Addict - Grand Prix 3
Derek's little trick worked for me too. I'm using Mobility Radeon X300 so no wonder I'm exepriencing such problems Many thanks for your work PK, it's just so indescribably amazing. I wonder how many of us could claim to be the best in the world at anythingby Speed_Addict - Grand Prix 3
I tried everything, nothing worked. I ran out of ideas. Which jam file should that be anyway, maybe I should check whether it's in right place?by Speed_Addict - Grand Prix 3
I placed all the RARs into a same folder and extracted each track only from the first volume. What did I do wrong? Here's the problem:by Speed_Addict - Grand Prix 3

Very nice, only one small remark: Michelin are out of F1by Speed_Addict - Grand Prix 3
Wow! Beautiful. Very interesting, are you planning on making the real liveries too? That would be great since you've got the skills.by Speed_Addict - Grand Prix 3
Belini, when will your release the patches and the 1998 season? Eagerly awaitingby Speed_Addict - Grand Prix 3
Nice. Those Quali and Race reports, is that the good old Excel or are you using some GP3 season management app, something...by Speed_Addict - Grand Prix 3
Just came across your 2003 BAR test car. WHAT A MAGNIFICENT WORK. The beauty is in the absence of colours. How come you never released an NT version of that car, or included a cockpit? Do you feel like completing that work now?by Speed_Addict - Grand Prix 3

Hey ppl, is there another place from where I can download this carset? It always tells me that the monthly bandwith has been used up and that I can't download it from the site that's linked up to the GP4/SeasonPackages section. Thxby Speed_Addict - Grand Prix 3
What do you mean rar files for tyres?by Speed_Addict - Grand Prix 3
Wow, way too much self complimenting there Nige... This one i don't get from the first reminiscence, about the pole time @ Adelaide: "But look at the history books and theyby Speed_Addict - F1
Only today i have managed to find time to unzip the track and go for a ride, had it downloaded for a couple of days... What can I say. MAGNIFICENT. Itby Speed_Addict - Grand Prix 3
Ah yes, and how can I edit the track default setup to correct gear ratio a bit. Just that, nothing else The fifth and the sixth gear at the 'Ring is too long, needs to be shortened. This post and the previous one refer to the year 2000 Nurburgring.by Speed_Addict - Grand Prix 3
Just one more thing (not about the grip ) there seems to be a problem with camera angles in the last two corners on the N'ring, the exit out of the chicane and sometimes the last corner... Looks like the camera view isn't set properly cause my screen goes black when the camera follows a car out of chicane. Or is it just my video card?by Speed_Addict - Grand Prix 3
So effectively when the computer takes over the control, @16384 the AI will perform similarly to when I was driving it because I have scaled down my grip from 16384 with the Player Grip util?by Speed_Addict - Grand Prix 3
You're not spoiling the fun, GP3 is now 10 times the fun it was before you stormed in with your great utils and beautiful tracks. But can you help me with this one please - if i wish to play multiplayer, and i set the player's grip to 15360, what will happen to the car's grip when the computer takes over the control? Does it read the value from from the perf file? Also, how dby Speed_Addict - Grand Prix 3
belini: think everyone's getting too hung up on the default 16384 figure as this figure is only relative to the value of track grip and ai grip. before I released the player grip util I used to hard patch the player grip value @ 15360, driving with less grip isn't that noticeable you just get a slight effect of understeer, and this is only really noticeable when driving aby Speed_Addict - Grand Prix 3
St.Hubbins: A little more testing to try and make some sense of things, I drove 2005 Imola as Massa and made a lap in FP of 1m 19.155s but HOFxLap shows BHP of 960 whereas the perf file claims BHP should be 923. Tried as Alonso and BHP is 970 against the perf's 933. I believe it has to do with the power factor parameter, the desc53 in the magic data file. A value of 500 would mean thaby Speed_Addict - Grand Prix 3
Come on, Belini, release tougher versions for us aces Please please please I want to struggle while trying to break the realistic pole time, and that's in the best car ! Or at least release another "rough guide" on how to fiddle magic data so we can achieve it ourselves (make us slower w/o reducing player's grip from the default 16384) Would it be much trouble?by Speed_Addict - Grand Prix 3
Thank you for your answer. I followed all your advices and although I didnby Speed_Addict - Grand Prix 3
Hi. Your tracks are great, Paul, fantastic, beautiful textures and everything...So much effort and time has been put in... But they are too easy to drive, ie. I'm too fast on them Even the v4 versions. If I use the most powerful engine I'm more than 2 seconds under the pole time. Calculating player's grip doesn't work for me. I have to use 15872 at most to get realistic lby Speed_Addict - Grand Prix 3
I think it's not a bug, it's a feature And the car bounces really hard off the kerbs... It doesn't have to be exactly like real lifeby Speed_Addict - Grand Prix 3
I don't think they'll make it to reach the 1K mark before the new 2.4 formula kicks in (which will reduce the power by some 20 percent). As for the most powerful engine out there I'm pretty sure that Toyota currently produces some mid 900 figures... Mercedes Honda and Ferrari are obviously not far off either, but what really stuns me is Renault. How did they manage to improve soby Speed_Addict - F1
