So effectively when the computer takes over the control, @16384 the AI will perform similarly to when I was driving it because I have scaled down my grip from 16384 with the Player Grip util? :)

Just one more thing (not about the grip ;))
there seems to be a problem with camera angles in the last two corners on the N'ring, the exit out of the chicane and sometimes the last corner...
Looks like the camera view isn't set properly cause my screen goes black when the camera follows a car out of chicane.

Or is it just my video card?

Ah yes, and how can I edit the track default setup to correct gear ratio a bit. Just that, nothing else :)
The fifth and the sixth gear at the 'Ring is too long, needs to be shortened.

This post and the previous one refer to the year 2000 Nurburgring.

I think it's an adboard you're seeing the back of, I thought I'd fixed that,
oh well, it's on my to do list.

as I'd forgot the camera's looks like I forgot to change the gearing
it should be this:

14 ; FW PLAYER DRY
14 ; RW
24 ; 1st
33 ; 2nd
41 ; 3rd
47 ; 4th
52 ; 5th
55 ; 6th

it's a shame gpxlap doesn't read the default player settings. I think you'll
have to use the same method as using the packers, enable car setups, change
the values and then set carsetup back to default. changing the values in gpxlap
only works for a value you've changed in the car setup menu.

gpxlap can be confusing as it always shows the base setup a player uses
before changing values in the car setup menu, eg: it will always say 15 wing
even though in reality your have 14 wing this only applies to gp32k as gp3
doesn't have player default setup.
